He replied in like manner.
"You can still make it back if you drop it off and leave, Nathan, she can do that right?" Leah wasn't willing. "I was only able to install a button that has to continually be pressed for the release of the sound wave.
"If she drops it and leaves… it defeats the purpose, to begin with," Nathan explained with a sullen expression. "You guys should stop. It won't help me in any way."
"But…" Leah swallowed the words back as Tanya put her hand up, cutting her off. "Just make sure we win this, okay. That's the best thing you could do for me."
Albeit unwillingly, Leah slowly nodded in agreement before turning away to face the screens. Tanya was touched by her actions. "I'm leaving now."
