Prologue

Our whole world changed when they showed up.

Apparently we were more related than it seemed at first glance.

I looked at the screen in front of me and knew I shouldn't give up, maybe he left me this for another purpose, but the bonds we created are strong enough that even I wouldn't dare to break them.

I stood up even under the roar of my joints and the screams of my muscles, I had to keep going, and I would. Pain filled my body, but I pushed on in this darkness that seemed to cover the world.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Rapid whistling could be heard at short intervals throughout the forest. Shadows seemed to move from branch to branch, shaking the trees slightly with each movement.

Nothing seemed to stop these shadows, but it wasn't necessary.

Tap.

For the sound of their feet coming to a stop was all that could be heard in the silent border of the forest. The street just a few meters away was illuminated by streetlights, then a black sedan-type car drove by at high speed. Suddenly the shadows disappeared.

Not many meters away the sedan stopped, four masked and hooded people with masks were standing in front of the car. Suddenly the four people disappeared in a blur and reappeared each at a door of the car.

Not caring about the people inside they opened the doors and rummaged through each of the people and every part of the car, but it seemed they did not find what they were looking for, as one of the hooded men said:

"Another failed attempt, looks like it will be harder to find" the voice sounded distorted but slightly feminine, this one seemed to be the leader as the four waited for him to speak, and when he did he ordered.

"Wipe their memory we don't need to cause trouble unnecessarily" as soon as he gave his orders the four stuck their heads into the cars, they seemed to whisper something and the next instant they disappeared in a blur.
