Re: Rune Factory ~A Fantasy Harvest Moon~

Falling out of the sky from a height that I could have died from, waking up in an unfamiliar and strange place wherever I looked, and not remembering a shred of who I really am. This is how it all started... This is how my new life began in this fantastic world. ____________________________________ "English is not my main language, but I try my best." This fanfic is based on the Rune Factory videogame saga. At the same time, it encompasses its entire universe with some pretty significant changes. The beginning is really quiet, but that is completely necessary to fully develop the story in the future and discover all the mysteries of the world, enjoy the story and discover for yourself what time hid for everyone.

Day 95: Above all (I)

And again, the same question of before had come to Blake. The simple fact of thinking of becoming any of the titles that his masters were offering him was too difficult to assimilate, in the eyes of others it was as difficult as finding the solution for a disease that was believed to be incurable or, using another metaphor, it was as if pigs suddenly started to fly, but even after hearing it and seeing the faces of their masters again, Blake didn't hesitate for a second when he gave his answer.

"I will be both."

"Well, I knew you'd make the right choice... What, are you crazy?!" Marjorie's expression easily showed what she was feeling at the moment.

"Ufufu, I must say I'm not surprised." Shino couldn't deny that she was enjoying herself.

"Do you understand what you are saying? You can't even imagine how hard the road is to become either one of the two, and now you say you want to be both of them. I am not trying to make you go back on your word, actually, I think it would be very interesting to see if you can achieve it, but you have to understand how difficult that challenge will be."

"I really don't really know how difficult it can be, but I am confident that I can do it, and you also said that I have the potential to be, I am not underestimating the path that I will have to follow to achieve it, but the reason that I have, besides not to disappoint them, it is that I want to learn more about everything that is magic and the runic path itself, whenever I see something related to that I feel like a great curiosity arises within me and that I have to satisfy as soon as possible, so yes, I'm aware of my decision, but I'm not going to back down right now."

"I've told you before, but this will be the last time, are you completely sure of your decision? Blake." Shino's words were looking for the last confirmation, but there was no doubt in Blake's words.

"Yes, I swear to you that in the future I will be the first person to become a Six-rune Wizard and a Runic emperor at the same time." And with just that, his masters showed a rather complacent look.

"Fine, fine, oaths are never convincing to me, but I'll believe in you, boy. Many strange things indeed surround you, but the determination that I feel from you is strong enough to notice it... I won't say anything else; I just hope to see the results of what you said and that you don't forget to visit this old lady more often, I have a lot of free time, hehe."

"I also hope to see how everything turns out, at first I thought that if you were lucky to enter the runic path, I would have to put you through hellish training, but with your talent, I think things can be a little simpler... Or maybe not."

"Anyway, I hope you don't do anything else dangerous or strange, I already have a lot on my hands with my loved granddaughter."

"You can also tell Sakuya that she can come in now and not to try to spy again, that's all we wanted to talk to you about, we're sorry we took your time."

"Not at all, I really appreciate your attention, if there's nothing else, I think I'll come back and make sure I remember everything you said, bye, masters." Realizing that there really was nothing more to say, Blake leaned slightly to they said his goodbyes, and walked out the door, leaving the smiling women in the room, but if he had turned around at that moment, he would have noticed that the mood abruptly changed in the room.

"What exactly are you planning, Marjorie?"

"It seems that nothing can escape your intuition, that's why I get along so badly with the runics." Marjorie clicked her tongue in annoyance.

"I know things can't be that simple, as soon as someone else finds out about Blake's situation..."

"I know what your worries are, but don't underestimate me, I may already be an old lady, but even those old decrepit who don't come out of their burrows have to give me some face, and if not, well, you know it's not that simple to walk over me."

"Even so... I'm just thinking worst-case scenarios, but maybe I'm exaggerating." The room was silent until Marjorie spoke again.

"I understand you, but I always have a plan B."

"And may I know what it is?"

"Hehe, I'll just say that I always wanted a grandson." And hearing that, Shino knew that Marjorie was herself again and couldn't help but joke anyway.

"Oh, maybe that's more difficult than Blake fulfilling his goals, hehe."

"What do you mean by that?! Do you think that Marian doesn't have her charms? Or maybe you already have macabre plans on your hands, typical of the runics"

"Well, you never know how fate works, I wouldn't mind if Blake called me mother one day." Invisible rays seemed to come from both women's eyes, but they both knew they weren't serious.

"Let's leave that for later, what did the letter that came to you say?" And hearing that, Shino's expression turned into one of excitement.

"She said she would come soon, it really took me by surprise, she also said she would bring someone else with her, but she didn't specify who it was, we haven't known anything for years."

"Hmph! I just want to see her to give her a few good hits with my broom, she only disappeared one day and she left me all the work, it was torture to cover her traces."

"I'm really still very grateful for what you did."

"Yes, yes, if you are really grateful, you better bring her with me when she arrives."

"I won't forget, ufufu."

Leaving the scene from earlier, Blake could now be seen inside of the Sharance tree after he left the pharmacy and said goodbye to the girls who had previously kidnapped him, but instead of lying in his bed waiting for sleep to come he, was in the middle of the room while closing his eyes and trying to try something without the slightest idea if it would work or not.

'I still remember that feeling, it's very light, but it's like a connection, although I don't even know how to get closer to it.' What was in Blake's mind at that moment was that room with the huge door that he opened a long time. Unlike before, he still felt that place was not something so simple, and the main reason for that was that he felt that it existed somewhere and that he could access it somehow, but after concentrating on it for more than an hour, he ended up giving up and opening his eyes after so long.
