Re: Rune Factory ~A Fantasy Harvest Moon~

Falling out of the sky from a height that I could have died from, waking up in an unfamiliar and strange place wherever I looked, and not remembering a shred of who I really am. This is how it all started... This is how my new life began in this fantastic world. ____________________________________ "English is not my main language, but I try my best." This fanfic is based on the Rune Factory videogame saga. At the same time, it encompasses its entire universe with some pretty significant changes. The beginning is really quiet, but that is completely necessary to fully develop the story in the future and discover all the mysteries of the world, enjoy the story and discover for yourself what time hid for everyone.

Day 9: Too much information (II)

Blake managed to see that there were all the skills he had heard in his head in front of the screen that had appeared, in addition to the short sword skill, so he thought about doing the same as before and trying to select any of the skills.

{Walking skill. Level 1.

Improved ability to walk. Improve HP, RP, and VIT.}

"So... Is it a skill that levels up just by walking?... Who came up with doing such a thing?" He stopped seeing that and selected another.

{Farming skill. Level 1.

Improved ability when working in the field. Reduce the expense of RP when using agricultural tools. Improve HP and RP.}

"This I see with more sense and it seems that increasing the skill level also increases some of my statistics." After that, Blake took a little look at his other skills, seeing that they were not very different, and decided to leave it and think about what to do next. "Well, I understand more or less everything, although I still have questions, it will be better to put them aside for the moment... What time will it be? I think time went by investigating."

[8:47 AM.]

"How convenient... Shara told me that her house was down the road, I hope I don't get lost on the way." But before starting to walk, he thought of something. 'I use the teleport spell in this place, is there any way to change the point of return to another place.'

[Return points used 1/3. Do you want to withdraw it?]

Blake did not know how to feel, that voice would appear when it wanted and told him the information he was looking for, so he tried to ask it something after agreeing to withdraw the return point that he used.

"Excuse me, voice... what should I call you?" But only the silence and the sound of the wind answered him. So he tried to change his question. "What are you?"

And once again, he got no response. He felt like a fool talking to nothing, so he forgot to keep trying and went upstairs to the top floor.

"I think it would be better to place it in this place."

[Do you want to place the return point in this area?]

Already a little outraged that the voice appeared this time to ask him that, Blake only agreed and the point of return appeared at the door of the upper floor. He left his new house and started down the steps towards Shara's house as he heard the notification of "walking skill, increased" several times.

'Yes, this is going to be annoying.' He continued on his way without any difficulty thinking about everything that had happened in these few hours, but while he was still immersed in it, he met a sleepy girl who had started walking next to him and thought that the best thing would be to introduce himself since he was new in town.

"Uhmm, Hello..." The girl looked almost the same height and age as him, her gaze was tired and her eyes were green, her hair was gray like silver and she wore a set of blue and white clothes and a kind of red scarf around her neck.

"Yawnnn... Uhmmm...? (I'm sleepy)." The girl stared at him for a few seconds analyzing the smiling blonde until she began to speak. "Your name is Blake, right?"

"Yes... How do you know?" Blake felt strange that a girl he had just met knew his name.

"The whole town talks about the strange blond boy who appeared today."

"I see..." 'So I'm strange...' Blake did not know if he could be considered strange with all that he had seen and the people who were in this town. "Well, it's a pleasure... I just wanted to say hello that I will already be living in the Sharance tree from today."

"Oh yeah? My name is Karina, Yawnn..." The girl's weariness was evident in her voice and made Blake wonder if she was awake or still asleep.

"You look tired, are you okay...?"

"Yeah, it's just that my mother makes me work in the store all the time. (It's a pain in the butt)." She said it while pointing to a store with a sign with the image of a turnip and a sack.

'Mmm, I suppose they will sell vegetables and maybe seeds, I should go see some.'

"Uh, you don't plan to shop at our store very often, do you?" Karina's comment made Blake wonder if she was just joking or serious.

"Well, uh... I think you sell things that I'm going to need." And he could only hear a sigh that came out of her.

"Sigh... (I guess I won't be able to rest)."

...

"Well, uh, I'll take a look." Karina started to walk away and enter the store, leaving Blake not knowing what to do, so he approached the store to see it better and could read its name of it.

'Diamond store, open from 8 AM-6 PM.' Thanks to the schedule, he saw that it was already open, so he decided to go in too. Once he was inside, the first thing that appeared in his line of sight was Karina asleep on the counter, causing a bead of sweat to trickle down his head.

"💤💤💤..."

"Uh, hello?" Blake's simple question made Karina step out of the dream world and into it.

"What?... Now the store is closed. Come back after my nap."

"Ah, uh... Okay." Blake was about to leave when he heard a scream coming from the door, and it chilled him in the same place.

"Karina!!! What are you doing?!" The one who had given that cry was a strong-looking woman with a great resemblance to Karina who now seemed more tired than she had before. The woman was the same height as Blake, her eyes were green, her light-yellow hair was gathered in a small ponytail and she wore green clothes similar to a work uniform. The fury in the woman was visible and she was totally directed at the sleepy silver-haired girl. "You're supposed to be working!"

"I'm working. The breaks are part of the job."

"But you can't take a break when there are customers in the store!"

"I've never heard customers complain..."

"That is because you are never awake to hear their complaints!" Blake could only stay away from the scolding Karina received, looking for a way to escape from there, until the woman turned to see him.

"Sigh… forgive my lazy daughter. If you ever find her asleep on the counter. Wake her up please."

"Haha..." Blake gave a nervous laugh in response, afraid that the scolding would be directed at him for some reason and he would start wanting to escape as fast as she could.
