Re: Rune Factory ~A Fantasy Harvest Moon~

Falling out of the sky from a height that I could have died from, waking up in an unfamiliar and strange place wherever I looked, and not remembering a shred of who I really am. This is how it all started... This is how my new life began in this fantastic world. ____________________________________ "English is not my main language, but I try my best." This fanfic is based on the Rune Factory videogame saga. At the same time, it encompasses its entire universe with some pretty significant changes. The beginning is really quiet, but that is completely necessary to fully develop the story in the future and discover all the mysteries of the world, enjoy the story and discover for yourself what time hid for everyone.

Day 110: Route (IV)

'Glad my strength increased or I would have gone flying with that last attack.' Wasting no time, Blake got into an attack stance and used his sword to launch a counter this time to watch as many damage values came out of the beetle's body that had just attacked him while it took several steps back. "Looks like you're strong enough to resist that."

The beetle didn't seem to care about anything Blake said as it lunged forward to ram it with its horn again, but unlike last time, Blake could feel some sort of smoke coming out of the beetle as a wild aura surrounded the beetle to this causing him to quickly raise his shield again to block it.

But even though he did it in time, the impact was enough to knock him backward at the same time that he saw his health bar drop a bit.

'Damn, even though I blocked it was still too strong, what was that he just used?' But once his gaze returned to the beetle, it was already glowing and in the next instant turned into a sphere of light and disappear. 'Did that last attack use its life energy to carry it out? That just makes me think I should be even more careful.'

Noticing that there was no one left to face by his side, Blake turned his attention to the green sword that floated in the distance and approached it while noticing the arrows that were buried in its body, and that the green sphere was nowhere to be found.

"Looks like you didn't need my help. Huh, what is that?" In the same place where the sphere had been before, there was only a small red crystal in the shape of a heart that Blake quickly picked up and used the system to verify what it really was.

{Life crystal. Level 1.

Crystallized vital energy. Everyone needs a little to be healthy.

Sale Price: 100G.}

'What kind of thing is this?' Despite the information, Blake didn't really understand the purpose of that crystal, but he didn't have to think about it too much once he saw how his fellow sword seemed incredibly excited to "see" that small crystal. "You want it?"

He didn't even have to ask again as the sword quickly reached out and used the branches of its body to take the crystal and slowly be absorbed for the next moment to give off a thrill of happiness.

"I guess you like them, I'll be sure to give you more if I find them in the future." Realizing that the area seemed completely clear, he considered going a little further to investigate the strange ruins but quickly had to raise his sword in front of him at the moment a huge sword loomed over him.

"Clank!" That sound echoed in his eardrums for several seconds as he realized that he had taken several steps back until he regained his balance and noticed the figure in front of him. It was a person, specifically, a boy, he had blond hair like him and totally silver eyes, his height was somewhat lower and his clothing was just as peculiar as the look of strangeness he had on his face.

They both stared at each other for a few seconds, but neither of them spokes, waiting for any movement from the opposite side. The sword plant was no stranger to the situation, and the moment it visualized that person it quickly pounced on him only to be greeted by a new attack.

"Screw rock!" Just when those words came out of that boy, Blake understood that it was a spell once he saw how a rock spike had materialized in his hand that impacted the entire body of his sword partner causing it to be thrown backward by the impact.

Blake quickly walked over to it and turned it back into a seed upon noticing how weak it was. He had once again turned his attention to that silver-eyed boy and the tension between them was enough for anyone to notice that things would not end that easily.

"I'm sorry about that, but I'm not nice to anyone who tries to attack me." The calm voice of that boy had been the first to be heard in the place.

"What a coincidence, I don't get along with those who attack me for no reason either." Blake wasn't going to be nice after what had happened.

"Would you believe me if I told you that I mistook you for an orc?" It seemed that the tension had dropped a bit, but Blake couldn't help but notice how the silver-eyed boy was making fun of him at that moment. He was about to say something else, but the instant he saw a slash coming toward him again, he placed his sword to block the attack.

"Clank!" And that sound was heard everywhere once their swords collided.

"I'm surprised you can block it; I thought this attack would be enough." A smile was on that person's face.

"Don't think it's that easy to deal with me." His talk continued as they put pressure on each other and gauged each other's strength, but that ended quickly the moment Blake launched his attack this time.

"Power wave!" A gust of wind had been generated from his sword as the silver-eyed boy moved away so as not to get caught in it, but despite that, he couldn't help but be thrown back by the power behind the attack.

"Heh, so you're a runic, I never thought I'd run into one here." That boy had realized that Blake's attack was a runic ability, and this made him a little excited.

Noticing the ease with which he got rid of his attack, Blake had to admit that that boy was really strong, he didn't know if he was holding back but thinking that he hadn't used all his power in that attack either made him analyze the opportunities that I had to be victorious.

"I guess I shouldn't underestimate you, I just hope you'll be able to withstand my next attack!" Blake didn't even have time to say anything else when he noticed how the boy was suddenly covered in a green aura and a large number of runes surrounded his body as he slashed with his sword hinting at the power behind that attack and Blake realized that this person was also a runic.

"Desert Ripper!" A huge slash shot out in Blake's direction as the ground shattered during his advance overwhelming his figure. He knew that if that attack hit him, it would all be over for him, so he could only grit his teeth and raise his arm as his eyes gave off that intense grayish glow to launch his attack in the same direction.

"Timeless Slash!"
