Hold the Line
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting eerie shadows over the battlefield, the Roman walls stood as a last line of defense against the relentless tide of the undead. For hours now, tens of thousands of undead had continuously marched toward the walls, an unending wave of death and decay.
Players from different server regions—Paris, Bangkok, Cairo, and New York—all worked together on their respective sections of the massive Roman walls. They fought with valor and determination, but the sheer number of undead seemed insurmountable. As the minutes turned to hours and the players' stamina drained, their defenses weakened, and casualties began to mount.
Desperation and frustration filled the air as cries of agony echoed through the night. It was only the fifth night of this relentless siege, and the players were already feeling the strain.
"Dammit! Why are there so many of them?!" a player shouted in frustration, their voice laden with exhaustion.
