The two ran as far as they could.
"Tsugaki! Quick Quick!" Lunar said running through the forest while holding his hand behind her.
"Wait Wait! I can't run so fast after being held in that shithole for so long!" Tsugaki complained as he continued to let himself be dragged along. He never really got a chance to make this much contact with her since they've always been separated by the same fence. It WS nice finally being able to hold her hand like this while running together.
All of a sudden, the woods got much darker, it was becoming night once more. It was much more difficult to see what was happening...And what was in front of them.
"You two. Stop at once." Said a male voice, filled with anger.
Out of the darkness stepped Drensaku. "Oh good, another adult. Look dude just let us through and-" Tsugaki then let out a yelp as he was suddenly shot in the stomach with an arrow. He fell to the ground slowly as Lunar stared in horror, she quickly shook him and tried to get him to wake up.
"Tsugaki! No! No!" She cried out.
"Its no use. I'm not letting anyone who overheard me to live on." Drensaku spoke up.
Lunar turned to him, her eyes full of rage. "How could you! You monster! You were so friendly the other day! Why did you kill him?!" Lunar yelled out frantically, her voice louder than she has ever yelled.
"Don't worry little girl. I may have not forgotten our encounter yesterday, but I'm still killing you next. I'm not letting anyone who overheard me leave these woods alive." He quickly prepared his crossbow once more.
In an instant, Lunar quickly ducked as the arrow grazed her hair as Tsugaki grabbed her arm weakly and shouted as loud as he could. "Run! Run as fast as you can! Leave me here!"
With tears welled up in her eyes, she nodded slowly and the memories of being with Tsugaki flooded her mind, Talking on the other side of the fence all the time — She quickly got up and began running, tears continued to flow down her sparkling green eyes.
"Get back here! I'm not letting you go that easily little girl!" Drensaku shouted as he began running after her, his crossbow in his hand, already loaded and already to shoot her.
She continued running until she came across a small grassed area with a small light that shone onto a black flower in. the middle, it illuminated brightly with the moonlight. The full moon continued to shine onto the flower.
She looked behind and saw that the area she was before was blocked off. Somehow, walking into this small confined space got her away from Drensaku.
"Hello? I-Is anyone in here?" She calls out, her voice full of fear. Her voice echoed around the tiny confined space.
Before she could react, the black flower latched out at her face as she stumbled to the ground with a loud scream.
Meanwhile, Drensaku looked around with no sight of her, Tsugaki looked up weakly, his vision blurred and noticed Drensaku and Lunar were already gone. He gripped the arrow in his chest and pulled, yelling in pain in the process.
A looming figure towered over him as he turned around slowly to see a young woman, her chest relatively flat, she had a red triangular guard on her left shoulder while she had a blue triangular guard on her right shoulder, on her face, she wore a purple blindfold with a yellow eye in the middle and an orange sun behind the eye. She also had half black half-white hair along with it.
"Yo, you must be one of those Drensaku-Kun shot down hah?" She said in a nonchalent way, her legs crossed. Both her hands crossing with each other while making pinch gestures.
"Who are you? What the hell do you want from me?" Tsugaki yelled out to her, still bleeding tremendously.
She kneeled down and began to tease him. "My My you seem awfully hurt. Asking for help would've been a better choice for you~" She says chuckling to herself.
Tsugaki scowls at her and grabs her hand she offered as she helped him up. "Igai Orokana, Pleasure to meet you young one. May I ask, what is your name?"
Tsugaki grunts and turns around avoid embarrassment of being helped by a female other than Lunar, "Tsugaki Yanpaku. Now if you excuse me, I have somewhere to g-" She stopped him with a single arm. "I'm afraid I can't have you leave." She says in a quiet teasing tone. He grunts and shoves her as hard as hr can.
"Let me go you wtich!" He shouts out. He tried to throw multiple punches at her but she manages to dodge each of those with ease, even managing to phase through one of his punches.
"Ah Ah Ah, Don't try to attack me like that~" She says with a teasing pout.
Tsugaki continued to punch her frantically hoping one of them will land.
"I'll let you go, if you perform my one task." She says while still dodging.
He looks up, his eyes flared up with anger. "Like hell I will! I'm trying to save my friend here!" He yells out at her.
"If you go, you'll die by that man's hands." She says out with a tinge of seriousness and a straight face.
She then shot a beam at his scarf through one of her fingers sending him flying back at speeds unimaginable and he miracally lands in a soft bush. "Huh? Ow- That shit hurt...I can't believe she would do something like that to me.
He looked around and this part of the forest was much brighter and he could actually see better.
It was then when he heard a loud scream, it was recognizable. It was Lunar, she was in trouble.
Tsugaki struggled to run, his body was still so hurt from the arrow earlier. " D-Damn it...Lunar...I...Must...save you..." He slowly got up and cluctched his chest, he had already pulled out the arrow when he got surprised by Orokana.
Lunar was breathing heavily. The black flower latched onto one of her eyes and she screamed in pain, no one could hear her however, the strange space shook as she coughs up some blood which gets dried up in the grass.
"N-No...What is this?" She looked at her hands as her dress began to get red patterns on it and her eyes changed to a bloody red colour.
She then all of sudden gasped as the area crunbled and shattered into pieces, leaving her out in the open, she let out a long breath, blood dripping from her mouth as her worried mouth slowly curled into a smile.
She threw her head back and began to laugh. "CHEHIHIHIHIHI! A FEELING I CANNOT DESCRIBE! A FEELING LIKE NONE OTHER! I AM BACK!" she yelled out suddenly.
With quick pace, she quickly dashed off to the nearest building and saw through the girl's memories. After all, she was back to cause havoc. The girl's home.
"L-Lunar?! What are you do- AHHH!" She yelled out as blood poured all across the floor, another body fell to the ground with a thud after that, leaving the area flooded with blood and darkness. She was breathing heavily but smiling, in fact, grinning widely.
"The boy is ne-" Kurohana gasped as she felt her time has expired. She only grinned at this however. "Heh...I might as well let this girl have her body back and have her stare straight into the corpse of her dead parents'!"
WIth that, the black flower that was once on her left eye fell to the ground slowly, the air was chilly, it felt as if everything was in slow-mo. Lunar stared at the wall in front of her, the sound of blood dripping continued to fill out the rest of the silent room.
"A...Ah..." She slowly let out little cries as the blood soon began surrounding her, the blood of her parents, her eyes stayed their bloody red instead of their shiny green while her mouth gaped open and she slowly put her hand to her mouth, tears began to well up in her eyes.
"N-No...M-Mom...D-Dad..." She kneeled down slowly and took one look at them. "My...My parents..." She threw her head back and let out a loud cry and yell. Tears nearly as much space as her parents' blood.
