CHAPTER 34: KILLING STEVEN PARTY

"Whoever wants to join Nicole family party just give your name here fast there are only ten spots left"

The Nicole family is big in Roseeagle town and being close relatives of the town's Lord they have a considerable amount of influence in this area. So them being a leading party to conquer the dungeon with five level 15 rangers, attracted the rogue warriors to join them.

Now they have gathered about fifty people to join their dungeon party.

On the other side, the Yami family from Redsparrow town who is a little far off from here didn't attract much, with the already present ten people from the family they got twenty new members making it about thirty people.

The people who fear death are leaving the spot while Taylor stayed behind however he stood away from both the parties.

Taylor was sure even as these guys are peaceful in creating party's on their own, they tend to have a quarrel and battle it out, here or inside the dungeon.

The dungeon is filled with dangers. Even a well-bonded party, lets its people on their own when a horrid situation arises inside. For the natives of Fantasy World death comes one time so it was a risky operation.

Raiding a dungeon doesn't come at an easy price and so does the amount of fame and reward.

Conquering a dungeon means you hold the authority over it. The reward and material one can gain from killing the Boss of the dungeon can make you wealthy.

But the next part is an even more amazing and valuable one, as you can gain the key to the dungeon. With the dungeon key, you can raid it again and cash out from all the hunt and mineral harvest from the dungeon.

And once you conquer the dungeon, the power of beasts inside becomes halved. This happens because Dungeon is a wormhole created from magic by the planet from outer space who wanted to create a portal to this world.

Only by defeating the boss and getting the dungeon key will break the connection with the outer world from where the dungeon is created.

So once the connection is broken, the beasts inside the dungeon won't have the demonic energy to feed on and so they become weakened. This means the loss of human resources will become nil as they raid few times.

Even as the Yami family looks weak, it is a threat to the Nicole family as any variant can happen inside. So it's best to chop it off in the bud.

Taylor has seen many of such battles before, people's greed is more devious before wealth.

He isn't an exception. The reason he is staying is so these guys would fight and he could kill the Steven group hiding behind the Nicole family party.

He is sure they would pose a threat if they let out a simple word of seeing him walk out of here. At that moment everyone will chase after him believing that he has robbed the natural treasure everyone was searching for. That was why he didn't leave at once, the uncertainty of what might happen. What's more, they have seen his face without the skull mask.

Getting everyone on his tail and run around the forest is the last thing he wants now.

The rule of all the dungeons is simple, whether you conquer it or not, you can only stay within them for a certain amount of time.

A level 15 dungeon gives you about three days. If you can't conquer it in three days, you will be thrown out. However, staying alive inside a dungeon where beasts lurk around is a difficult feat to achieve.

Once you enter a dungeon there is the possibility of being thrown anywhere inside it.

As for the possibility of being thrown inside the Boss's room is slim and even if it happened, there was none to say such a tale.

Taylor scurf through here for two reasons, one to kill people and another of course to try his luck.

Stealing a boss kill is something no one can resist.

He is confident that he can kill a wounded boss.

Both the party has a total of ten levels 15 and fifteen levels 12 and rest are level 10 and below, so they are sure to hit the boss. But the problem is who is gonna kill it and share the reward among themselves. If he can fish in from the conflict he is happy to take the risk. And the truest fact is, he has nothing to do for three days here until the penalty is over for him and Edward.

Because that is the time he can shift from his clone avatar Joker to his original avatar Taylor.

He doesn't want to let anyone know about his identity as Joker, his second clone and the black skull mask he is wearing are the best cover for him. It will be a great boost to all his plans.

But his waiting took a shifty turn when the level 12 old man guarding Steven walked to him, "Nicole family young master asks you to join their party"

Looking up he saw a young man around twenty-seven look at him with a friendly gaze, "im not interested"

"Listen well, he is Nicole family Patriarch's, Second brother's youngest son, Grameen. If you reject his offer, you will have nowhere to hide in this forest or the nearby town.", the level 12 guard threatened him as such, Steven and his three guards walked to Taylor and said, "You will die in no time"

Taylor was distracted to kill them on the spot or not, "Hey, old fogey, there has never been a single person alive threatening me. So take this prick and go back"

Steven yanked, "You don't get it, do you"

Taylor took a step toward Steven, the level 12 guard rushed between them, "wait"

Black smoke started to emerge from his black skull mask and warblade in his back, "It's you who just walked to your death"

Zing...

A black-light appeared before the crowd's eyes.

Thud...

The next second what they saw was, head of the level 12 warrior rolling on the dirt.

Ahhh...

Steven sacred shouted to his party to save him, he realized killing a level 12 warrior in a single strike. Just how strong Taylor was.

However, his running away strategy with all his might was just waste, after killing the three lackeys that tried to block him, Taylor killed Steven cutting him in half.

Grameen shouted, "Guard, kill that skull mask kid"
