Universe is harassing me

I am cleaning up the school. Today was my duty to stay here after school. It is already night.

"Do the work quickly!" Tora yelled at me.

"I already told you that it would take some. You can go home but you didn't. It is your fault!" I told her.

"It is not my fault if you clean the school very slow"

"Just shut up. You didn't help me at all"

"Because today is your duty not mine!" She sticks her tongue out and makes fun of me.

"You know senpai didn't come today" I said.

"Don't be stupid, Seig! Rei senpai is probably with Father Grigori and Sister Lisa. Maybe she is enjoying a little day off with them." She looks at me with a smile.

"Maybe. Do we know anything about her family?"

"Well, no. Maybe she is an orphan and Sister Lisa took care of her?" She added.

Senpai is a person who has many secrets. Even if she tried to act sweet or cold, each day with the same cold and sarcastic face got new emotions inside her body.

Before we can further discuss this. A sudden earthquake comes. In Japan, earthquakes are very common but here in this city it is abnormal. Our city never experienced any type of earthquake.

We ran outside of the school.

No way! I was surprised to see that the earthquake had destroyed our school. No way!

"What is happening?!" Even she knew that this is beyond anything we ever see.

"I don't know. But we have to get out of here!" I explained to her.

Before we can even reach the school's exit, we hear a large explosion that can easily wake up the whole town to see what is going on.

"What the hell?!"

"Should we check?" Tora suggested it to me.

"I don't think we should"

Before I can do anything, she grabs my arm and drags me towards the explosion scene.

I can't believe my eyes neither can she see what we are seeing. We are seeing that a white hair dude who looks like a depressed guy is attacking a black haired dude with the red blades that are behind his back.

I can't make out what he is saying except die and die one. Who the hell are these creatures?! What on earth…how do they exist?! Are they aliens?

I can't see their movements. They are beyond this world's physics.

Before any of us could run…that time white hair dude saw us.

"No, shit!" I curse in my mind. I grabbed Tora's hand but it was too late. I wasn't able to save her.

"Let's go, Tora!" I yell at her.

But when I looked behind me, I saw my greatest nightmare. Tora is impaled with many blades.

I can't believe it.

"No!!!" I shout.

I bend on my knees. I can't believe that Tora is dead. I can't believe that my childhood friend is dead in front of me.

I don't know what I will say to her friends. If only I was able to react faster…I would have saved my friend.

"Yo kid!" That white dude smiled at me. "Did you get lost or something?! Can't you see I am in the middle of the fight, bastard!" He yelled at me.

Then he looked towards Tora, "Take good luck. You will die just like her!" he spit at me.

He is a vampire. The Dracula for sure. He is hungry for blood. Blood is food for him. We consume food to satisfy our stomach. We eat for hunger. Hunger can be gluttony. Gluttony is sin. I will judge him.

He came closer to me. He is going to kill me. He shut my eyes to wait for my death.

"Ahhhhhhh!!" He screamed. Wait, he is screaming!?

I open my eyes, I can't believe he is burning up without flames. Something is wrong. By looking at him, his flesh is burning but there is no evidence of fire at all.

"Shit! So, you are the pawn of that damn bastard mother fucker wizard!" He cursed at someone so much. His cursing is shaking up the land.

I look around the ground. It is burned. No, it is still melting.

"I can't believe that damn wizard would choose a kid to be a hero for no reason," he chuckled.

Before I can even blink, the white hair dude disappears into thin air.

Before I can process the whole thing and what had happened. I remember Tora!

I see her laying dead, "sorry, I can't able to do a shit all"

"It is not your fault that she is dead" a female voice spoke behind me.

I looked behind my back and I was shocked to see her…she has black hair and black eyes just like those common traits among Japanese.

"Sakura" I don't know but I am shocked to see her so calm when her classmate is dying.

"So, you are the pawn of a wizard in this war. A representative from his side" she said the same thing as that white hair dude had said.

She pushed me aside and kneel down in front of Tora. She starts to mutter some sort of thing. Tora's body starts to heal and it looks like she regenerates back to the same.

"Wait what?!" I am shocked now. What is happening now?!

Before I was able to speak, the same black hair dude who had fought up against that vampire came. He has black hair and blue eyes. He is wearing a red T-shirt and blue pants.

"Did you find him, Kinjo?" She asked this dude.

"Nah, he is sure a fasty!" He tries to make a pun.

Then his eyes look towards me and Tora.

"Who are they?" He pointed at me and Tora.

"Only boy is important for this war" she lifts up Tora's body and gives it to Kinjo. "Take her to her house"

Kinjo tried to protest, "What?! But I have to—"

"No but and take her to her house" she commanded Kinjo.

"Whatever boss!" He smirks at her and leaves the school.

I can't let him take Tora somewhere else. I tried to run after him to catch him but Sakura had already grabbed my hand.

"What are you doing?!" I yelled at her.

"Do you want an explanation or not?"

Think of it. I need to know what the heck is happening here!

"Umm…of course"

"Good. Just follow me" she said in a commanding voice without lowering her cold personality.

We are on our way to the hill road which leads you to Church but why are we going there? Something is wrong for sure. Is that Church actually their hiding place or headquarters? I can't judge somebody without knowing about them.

We reached the church in no time. My heartbeat is increasing. No way! Don't tell me Sister, that creepy guy and senpai are actually related to these freaks?!

But instead of going through the front door, we entered the church by the back door which I never went to in my whole life.

I see a section of this church that I have never seen before. The whole chapel is great. You can easily fit many people. Whoever made this section of the church is really a man of character.

"Why are we here, Sakura?" I ask her.

"This is where we will meet the active commander of our group" she said that again without emotions. Damn, she is really cold to me.

I hear the sound of someone's footsteps as the person who Sakura dubbed as active commander comes into the scene.

He is freaking talking!

Wait…no way!

"Grigori!" I can't hide my surprise. Why the heck a priest is always evil in every freaking supernatural story?!

"Yes. Seig. Are you surprised by this?" he asked me with his cold eyes. They are something different. He is beyond me. His presence is not strong or dangerous as that vampire but he sure can you feel like dust in comparison to him.

"What the heck is happening?! What are you guys?!" I asked my two most important heart touching questions.

"Ragnarok" he said a single sentence to explain to me.

"Ragnarok?" I am confused.

"Yes, Ragnarok. Have you ever not read about Nordic books?" He asked me a simple question.

"By Nordic you mean Norse? Like a Thor and Odin type story?"

He nodded his head to confirm my point.

"In the Ragnarok, it is a war event for destruction of olden world and creation of new world under the rulership of a new generation of gods"

"So, how is this related to you guys?!" Are they planning on becoming gods or something?!

"Well, Ragnarok will happen this year, this month and on the 31st of October during the time of Halloween!" He laughed like a maniac.

"What are you guys at all?!"

"Aesir. We are Aesir. The group of people from all over history brought together by the wizard for this war. Our destiny is to change the world order with our lord!" He raised up his hand to pray to his god.

"What the hell?! This is crazy! What about Sister Lisa and senpai?! Do they know what is going" I ask him with worry.

"Oh, they are fine for now on, Seig," he smiled at me. First time in my whole life, I think he said something relieving.

A new question stuck in my head. I want to ask this.

"Why the hell did I get dragged into this?!"

His eyes look at me very seriously. I feel like he is examining my soul.

"Interesting question to answer. Well, you are important for this war because we even don't know why you are"

What did he say?

" What do you mean?"

"It means that you are a very special existence that only wizards and our lord knows about," he smirks at me. I hate this priest.

Before I can ask more questions. I got cut off by Sakura who first kneel before him.

"All hail to Father"

"Rise up and ask me whatever you want"

She stands on her leg.

"I want to know why every piece is coming here? Didn't we all decided that we will meet on the start of Ragnarok but…Sir Dracula is here"

"I invite them. I heard from Sirr Dracula that you are trying to betray us. You know that if you try to cross us then you will be destroyed from existence. There is a huge gap between us in strength, Sakura!" A sudden pressure crushed us. But he stopped his aura from destroying us. No way, this guy can make us feel like this.

"You are chosen for greater destiny, Seig. You should go on before you miss the great entertainment!" He smiled at me and quickly changed up his rude good personality to innocent.

There is something wrong with this whole universe!
