Chapter 30

Before arriving the caves we found a group of adventurers that informed us that Comodo was being invaded by the Merpeople. The Merpeople are nothing more than marine monsters in the game, Merman (Fish People), Strouf (A guy like Poseidon in a cloud) and Obeaune (Mermaids). There are some more marine monsters but nothing to complicated.

So we attacked and managed to recover the city quickly, luckily the city are already used to these attacks so they did not suffer more than some material losses, we stayed there for 2 more days, so I take the opportunity to go back and visit the girls and interact with them, spending a day with each of them, trying to learn as much as I can about each of them.

[Guard the city: You take the task of protecting and liberating the city of Comodo from the attacks of the Merpeople.

Objectives: Defends Comodo, Repels all enemy attacks.

Rewards: 5 Level Ups, 100 Gold Bars, 5 Gacha MVP Cards, Rank Points: 2,000.]

First I pass the day with the shy and probably M Shetinoth I wonder how she can be so embarrassed and wear a small bikini top like nothing, by managing to get her to remove the patch from her right eye she has Heterochromia, her right eye is purple and the other is emerald green, I can clearly imagine what she must have been through in her life.... no stupid thoughts I will not turn her into a Chuunibyou....

The next day i meet my hardworking exhibitionist student Akhene, I still wonder how she was able to adapt so easily to being naked, at the moment I'm experimenting with Epianne, Olivis and Kamilla, but so far any attempt has resulted in failure, could it be that Akhene really is an exhibitionist and I just unleashes her potential?

The third day I quickly returned to Comodo. Where I met with Peter I discovered another small inconvenience, there are no boats or ships that can transport us, so we only have to leave on foot It will take several days of travel, and another week before we can depart since they are looking for guides, but with me here we can immediately depart to Pharos.

We are going through Mao, the East Cave, thanks to my map we can quickly get out of the place and thanks to the invasion in Comodo there is a very small amount of monsters, even so these labyrinth caves are very big and deep I will explore this place another day, it took us almost 1 full day to get out of the cave and according to what Peter tells me normally it can take between 3 or 5 days to cross it, thus gaining again the admiration of the entire group.

We could keep advancing but I don't want to have to camp in a jungle anymore, especially when the mosquitoes in this place measure about 15 or 20 cm minimum, so tonight we camp near the entrance of the cave, I talked to Peter more during the night about his family and the others Princes. Although he was disappointed when i reject his invitation to join his group, I still told him to contact me if he needed help exploring.

The next morning we left the cave and crossed a place called Papuchicha Forest, which is more like a swamp, with poisonous monsters, wild boars and a strange bipedal crocodile that wears a prisoner's shirt... another normal day I suppose, again there are many of them but not on the level that I found in other places. There will only be 5 or 6 times more monsters than normal, I still wonder why there are sometimes such abysmal amounts and on other occasions even smaller amounts than those indicated.

'Now that I think about it, in Niflheim the only ones with really big numbers were the Gibbets, Dullahan and Disguise, not to mention that there were almost no monsters after crossing Skellington Village.' While I think about the why in this situation we managed to cross the swamp and arrive at the Kokomo beach.

On the beach there are some seals that attack us and some penguins with a barrel in their hands and sunglasses on top of their heads.... to tell the truth I've seen worse shit before so seeing such a peaceful creature is rare and blissful, that day we continue advancing until very shortly before nightfall, but we finally got to our destination, it is one of the islets where there are already some structures, it looks like a watch tower.

After a night of rest and without many incidents we continued advancing through the coast, the road was rather boring, since there were no strong monsters (for me) and it was practically just walking, it was until noon that we found a messenger injured, we manage to help him and in the end he tells us that Fortress Saint Darmain is under attack by a combined force of Goblins and Kobolds, and he is on his way to Comodo to ask for reinforcements.

We know the situation that Comodo is in so we inform him and we prepare to go help, so we redouble our pace and move forward, on the way we find some brown Kobolds different of the blue ones of Geffen so from what I see it must be a desert tribe, and Goblins, small brown creatures that wears strange masks and a wide variety of weapons.

Goblin Archer is a Goblin that carries a bow and arrows. Although the bow is not that efficient, it is hard to dodge arrows shot by many goblins from here and there.]

After killing some monsters that crossed our path, we finally reached the outskirts of Fortress Saint Darmain and shit, it's massive, a whole fortress created on top of a cliff, from here I estimate that it must measure about 20 or 30 km long, all fully fortified. In the game this place was abandoned when its inhabitants moved to Comodo, in reality no ruler would be such an idiot to abandon such a fortress so easily.

However, at this moment I can only see how a part of the fortress is infested with Goblins, Kobolds, Gargoyles, Harpies and some Griffons, even so the soldiers of the fortress continue to defend it, although from here we cannot advance, the bridge connecting the fortress was destroyed but there is still a passage to the south directly to Pharos, from what I see it is also under attack but to a lesser extent and its wall still stands.

So we quickly move south, eliminating everything that comes our way, when we reach the wall, the defenders receive us but the doors do not open, making us climb the walls with ropes and I clearly see why as soon as we started to climb a big attack came towards us, without any of us or those on the walls noticing it, although we quickly managed to climb the wall we still lost 4 men in the attack.

I wanted to try the Yggdrasil Leaf on them to see if the Leaf could really revive dead people but the Goblins quickly took their bodies so I didn't have a chance, Peter thanks the commander of the wall and ask for a person named Richard, after that we finally entered Pharos...

Pharos the Beacon Island, it is more or less the same as the game from what I see, but the lighthouse is much more beautiful and it is clearly a copy of the Pharos Lighthouse from Egypt, in the place I see many Rogues, well their Guild is in the city so it is not unexpected. Before we can cross the bridge we advance to a small tent where there is a brown-haired man named Poe Richard, his eyes cannot be seen, he has the classic hentai protagonist hairstyle and in his hand he has a pair of dices, he see us and start walking to us, I definitely won't bring the girls close to this guy.

"It's good to see you again Po, on the way back we met one of your messengers, so we quickly came to try to help." Peter hugs him back and they both return to his tent, talking a little about what happened and asking about his well-being.

And while they are talking I notice a couple of people coming towards us, a young blond girl with blue eyes about 13 or 14 years old, wearing a beautiful short dress adorned with flowers and a blond middle age man wearing a red and black jacket, I saw him before in the meeting with the King, just by looking at him I clearly dislike him, he has the face and temperament of a guy with a stick up his ass, so deep inside that it almost comes out of his mouth.

When entering the tent, I noticed someone I had not seen, a man with brown hair and purple eyes, wearing a white and blue gala suit, with shoulder armor, the classic image of a true gentleman. Well, he's clearly a born killer if he managed to get that close to me without me noticing his presence and his eyes are just watching me without blinking.

"Peter, it's nice to see you safe, but I thought you were following the King's order, why are you back so soon? Did something happen? It's not good that you came here as soon as you heard about the attack, the King's orders are paramount." Who the fuck is this man? You're a scowl-faced duke who's totally arrogant, why he turned into a kind and caring person with a straight face? shit he's even checking his body with his hands.

"Uncle Friedrich, if you don't let him talk we won't know why my cousin Peter is here so soon, it's good to see you again cousin." The girl also began to speak and according to what I learned as a Royal Guard, her etiquette is exceptional... although she is clearly a good fighter as well, she is clearly an expert assassin.

Even the others show astonished faces and also begin to frown upon hearing what Friedrich said, the only one who acts normal is Peter, well, not normal, he is clearly confused and looking for a way to defend me, he even stands in front of me trying to cover me from Friedrich. The rest of those present do not understand what is happening since they only see the strange emblem, which is only a circle with the face of a pig with fangs drawn on it.

" Again he manages to surprise me, by not only apologizing but even bowing to me, and at the end he asks me about the facts with a smile, and you really can't hit a man smiling, well you can but that isn't the point.

"Grand Master? Uncle what's going on? Do those emblems represent something important? although Leonhard you never told me that you belonged to an order! It's good that you can get more prestige before the king!" Peter is clearly happy that the misunderstanding has been resolved and smiles too.

"All of you need to study more, what I have in my hands is an Orc Heroic Emblem, it is only carried by the Orc Hero and the Orc Lord." Once Friedrich finishes speaking they still take a while to react but suddenly they react and they are really surprised, turning to see me with a look full of expectation.

"The best will be to leave the stories for when we find ourselves in a less... problematic situation." To tell the truth I don't want to tell what I did, if it was Peter, Friedrich and maybe Po I don't think I would have a major problem but I know very well that this girl named Skia will be a problem.

Since she introduced herself to me as Spica Nerius, I don't know what kind of game the nobles are playing but if she even has to use a double then she's in a lot of trouble. Therefore, it is best to get as far away from her as possible to avoid getting involved in her problems... I hope I didn't raise a flag... right?
