Get Out
Mia and Erik found themselves engulfed in a darkness after they pass through the rift. Strangely enough, despite the absence of any light they could still clearly see each other's faces. Beyond that, however, there was nothing but endless, impenetrable blackness stretching out in all directions.
Mia's heart raced as she took in their surroundings. She start to feel creeping sense of unease that threatened to become panic. She then began to trace intricate patterns in the air with her fingers. A soft blue rune materialized before them, casting a pale light that pushed back the dark but only for a few steps ahead.
The little light wasn't enough to comfort Mia. She always a little bit more afraid of the full darkness. "What if we're stuck here?"
"Hey, calm down. Take a deep breath. We're going to be alright," he said. "Let's wait for the System's instructions. It guided us here so I'm it'll guide us out."
