A Giant Snake!

Zeph untied the sack that was latched onto his back and layed it inside the trunk of a humongous tree. 'Gotta keep this safe.' said Zeph in his mind.

"Fuza" Shura called out to his huge bird. Fuza came flying downwards and landed on the ground, gently lowering its neck for Shura to get on its back. Next to Ohm was an oversized dog with white fur, short tail and floppy ears. Zeph guessed the dog was Holy, Ohm's pet.

Zeph putting on a serious face, bent his knees and advanced towards Gedatsu without a moment's notice, creating a small crater on the ground. Zeph was moving too quickly for Ohm and Shura to react fast enough. Gedatsu using his Mantra guessed his next move but Zeph was approaching rapidly, seeing that he couldn't counter-attack in time, Gedatsu lifted his arm to his chest in a guarded position in hopes of blocking Zeph's punch or at least lowering the impact to his body.

Zeph's punch connected and accurately hit the center of Gedatsu's arms, plunging Gedatsu backwards crashing into a tree. Gedatsu having dealt with the punch felt his arms were numb from the impact and would take a while before he could attack at full power.

Zeph was now in-between Ohm and Shura. Without waiting for the intruder to make his next move, Shura called out to Fuza while moving his fingers, "ROAST HIM, FUZA!!". Fuza immediately opened its beak and flame spewed out towards Zeph with the intent to burn him alive. At the same time, Ohm with his sword, unleashed a dangerous whip-like attack at Zeph shouting, "EISEN WHIP!".

Fuza was closer to Zeph, as a result the flames came alarmingly close to Zeph burning few strands of his shirt.. Zeph immediately started sweating seeing their pincer movement, used Soru and appeared a few metres away from them, successfully dodging their attacks. There was still remnants of the flame burning the edges of his shirt, Zeph patted his shirt vanquishing the fire.

Ohm's attack hit the empty air and Fuza stopped spewing out flames after seeing they missed.

"Holy! Go and keep him company!" ordered Ohm.

Holy ran after Zeph. Zeph put his guard up to defend the incoming attack. Holy reaching Zeph stopped and layed on his back with his paws up in the air. Zeph seeing this was dumbfounded and thought 'He wants me to pet him?!'

Ohm looking at Holy's miserable display, barked at him, "ATTACK HIM, HOLY!!"

Holy stopped lying on his back, flipped majestically to him standing on his hind legs and swung his fist at Zeph. Zeph moved his head to his left, dodging the attack and jumped up to Holy's head giving a fierce kick to his chin, instantly knocking him out.

The short fight gave enough time for the three priests to come close to him and got ready to initiate their attack.

Shura from the air thrusted his lance towards Zeph's head with a dangerous gleam. Ohm came in from the side shaping his sword into a spear and shoving it at Zeph's left leg.

"Eisen Fleuret!"

In reponse, Zeph jumped over Ohm's spear and hardened his fists coating it black, and punched towards the tip of the lance stopping and pushing it back.

"JET PUNCH" screamed Gedatsu activating the Jet Dial stored on his elbow, behind Zeph. Zeph wanted to dodge but realised he was stuck in his place.

"How do you like my Strings?" cunningly smiled Shura. 'Shit' thought Zeph and accepted the punch head on.

The powerful punch successfully landed on his back blasting Zeph away crashing into a tree.

Seeing that his Jet Punch had connected, Gedatsu smiled victoriously but after a moment, he stopped. He could see a silhouette standing up in the cloud of dust.

"Ouch! That packed a punch!" said Zeph while caressing his back.

"He didn't DIE?!" shouted Gedatsu. Both Ohm and Shura had a grim face while looking at Zeph.

"Not bad, Gedatsu." mildly praised Zeph while cracking his knuckles.

"Just how strong is he?!" asked Shura in a heavy tone.

"It's time for me to attack" said Zeph rushing towards Ohm. Ohm seeing this put his spear forwards and transformed the spear into a large solid wall to block the incoming attack.

"Eisen Back!"

Seeing the wall appearing in front of Ohm, Zeph pulled his fist back shouting, "Armament: Hardening", and punched forth towards the wall shattering it. The fist plunged forwards, without stopping, at Ohm's shocked face. Ohm couldn't move his head away and the fist struck his face knocking a few teeth from his mouth and shattering his sunglasses, knocking him out for good. His body flew and landed on the ground with a resounding impact, creating a crater due to the sheer force of Zeph's powerful punch.

"Heat Javelin!"

Shura lunged in for another attempt, thrusting his lance while activating the Heat Dial stored in the lance at Zeph in hopes of burning and shattering his fist. Zeph turned around and kicked his leg in an arc, a sharp wind blade appeared and sliced forwards but it had missed the lance that was aiming for Zeph.

"Hmph, you missed!" smiled Shura.

"Did I?" smirked Zeph in response as his eyes darted behind Shura.

Shura turned his head and looked behind him, and saw the wind blade sweeping towards Gedatsu. Gedatsu was planning on following up with another Jet Punch behind Shura but Zeph saw through this. The wind blade slicked through Gedatsu, spilling blood from the impact and effectively knocking him out.

Seeing that Gedatsu has fallen, Shura thrusted his Heat Javelin with more power at Zeph. Zeph punched forwards with his hardened fists and the two made contact. Shura, hoping to see the lance piercing through his fist, never happened but instead his lance started to crack.

"NOO!!!!" anxiously shouted Shura.

Zeph added more force to his punch, and applied more pressure to the lance. Numerous cracks started appearing on the lance and before Shura could bring it back, the Lance shattered into many pieces.

Quickly taking advantage of the shattered lance, Zeph pushed forwards and shot two powerful Rankyakus at Shura and Fuza knocking them both out.

"Phew! I could've handled it better but the experience was worth it!" smiled Zeph in relief.

Zeph feeling a little exhausted from the fight, sat down near a tree and took a quick break. After resting for a while, Zeph put his hands in his pocket and pulled out a whistle. He blew the whistle and waited. After a few minutes, flapping sounds could be heard and Gan Fall appeared.

"What service do you require from me, Zeph?" enquired Gan Fall seeing that it was Zeph who called out for him.

"Can you please take them away and deal with them as you see fit?" asked Zeph while pointing towards Ohm, Shura and Gedatsu gathered in a heap.

Gan Fall turned to see where Zeph had pointed and was shocked at the sight of the three priests. "W-What happened here?" stuttered Gan Fall in shock.

"I defeated them. Also, Satori should be a few yards behind me." replied Zeph pointing over his shoulders.

"I-Incredible!"

Gan Fall was feeling happy beyond belief. The destruction and fear the Four Priests have caused to the Skypieans were too much to count. Putting his hand over his chest of where his heart lay, "I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Zeph!" sincerely thanked Gan Fall.

"No worries!" laughed Zeph rubbing his head sheepishly. Zeph noticed someone while sweeping with his Observation Haki. Zeph walked over to the trunk of where he hid his sack and tied it back.

"I'll go on ahead." said Zeph, taking off in a certain direction.

'I hope he can defeat Enel. We've been in terror for far, far too long' thought Gan Fall with high hopes and proceeded to take the Four Priests away.

Zeph was getting closer to the aggressive aura he sensed back with Gan Fall. After a few seconds, he stopped near a cave and sensed that the aura was inside the open cave. All of a sudden, he could feel two glaring yellow coloured eyes staring at him from the darkness of the cave. The creature suddenly shot forwards with rapid speed out of the cave with its jaws wide open ready to swallow Zeph alive. Zeph having sensed its movement, dodged the creature's attack.

Landing on a rock, Zeph finally could see the appearance of the creature and took a deep breath. The creature is a giant snake, almost the size of the humongous trees. It has a huge head capable of carrying a lot of people. Its body is blue in colour with a single row of white hair on both sides along its body. It has dark coloured horizontally wavy lines across the back of its body. It also has two barbels hanging on the spot above her mouth. From the unique appearance of the giant snake, Zeph guesses who she was.

'She is Nola, Master of the Sky!' thought Zeph

"Yo!" said Zeph

*Hisss* slithered Nola.

"I mean no harm and I know you can understand me." said Zeph in a gentle tone.

Nola stopped slithering but was still wary of him.

"Do you want to hear the sound of the Golden Bell?!" asked Zeph smilingly.

Upon hearing this, Nola kept quiet for a while and then took a quick change in her attitude and emotions, instantly bobbing her head up and down in excitement.

Looking at Nola dance in excitement, Zeph smiled and said, "Can you come with me to Giant Jack, Nola? I was just on my way there before i sensed you."

Nola hissed before lowering her head for Zeph to jump on. Zeph grinning, hopped on to Nola's head. "Let's goo!" said Zeph while pointing his finger towards Giant Jack.

At the same time in the resting place of where Enel is, God's Shrine, Enel opened one of his eyes and smiled.

"It seems that my priests have failed in their endeavour to capture the blue sea dweller."

"What will you do now, Enel-sama?" asked one of his advisors next to him.

"I am God. I will simply wait for him and take his life as it belongs to me. Yaahahaha" laughed Enel.

"But what if he is strong?"

"Yahahahaha. I am Lightning. No matter how hard he tries, he can never overcome lightning."
