As sun sets, you wander the village, taking a full accounting of everything the River People lost in the fighting. Several houses were burned, unsurprisingly. It could have been much worse. The village still stands; most of the villagers are still alive.

Once the last of the dead are accounted for and the last guttering fires are put out, you're all exhausted, and you know that you aren't yet done. You must reach the Ziggurat and stop Stralchus from blasting the gray mountain.

Even as you prepare to set out, the gray mountain seems to grow larger in the sky, until you can almost feel the weight of it pressing down on this world.
