Chapter 37: Not For Weak Souls
Funtasy Land was so much more than its vibrant ads and colorful billboards. Junie personally thought that the theme park needed a new marketing team. The cheesy slogans and tacky graphic design choices just weren’t doing the gorgeous park justice.
Junie and Callie squealed excitedly when the gates came into view. The pillars on either side of the entrance were decorated with intricate designs of mythical creatures. A majestic castle loomed in the distance with towering spires that made Junie feel extremely small.
Kian leaned over to kiss her temple, smiling at her, pleased that she was already having so much fun despite the fact that they had just walked through the gates. He pulled his girlfriend off the main path and eyed the map he had snagged. “What should we do first?” he asked the group.
“Let’s hit up Ethereal Marketplace,” Micah said immediately, tapping his foam battle ax against his shoulder. “I’m starving.”
