The sun casted a golden hue on the pinkish sky as it began to set, causing Ye Jin to pause a bit in her steps to admire it.
"Jin-er," Xi Ming's voice rang in her ears.
Ye Jin turned and saw Xi Ming with a gentle look on his face as he stared at her.
"What are you looking at?" he asked curiously.
Ye Jin pointed at the colorful sky. "The sky," she said with admiration. "Isn't it beautiful?"
Xi Ming hummed in response.
But it isn't as beautiful as you, Jin-er.
Xi Ming tugged on her clothes gently. "Come on, let's go or it's going to be late."
They were finally going home after a long day in the forest training. Zhou Tang had left earlier with Li Fei so as not to let the Zhou family discover her disappearance.
Xi Ming had smiled in relief when he heard they were going earlier. He finally had time to be alone with Jin-er.
