Chapter 5 - * All is well at last *

Their story became a sensational case, when he came out of the hospital he had been brought directly to the jail. Limping or his old age is not enough reason for him to be exempted from imprisonment.

Every detail of their life was rummaged by the media. He became an instant celebrity but with a bad cause. He had never been insulted or humiliated in his whole life just for now in a major shameful wrongdoing. He had expected this will happened if he got caught, and his fears become reality after twenty six years. Because of his condition and at his age, he had been separated from the younger prisoners the police officers know he will experience more beating that might kill him if they do that.

Since the day he was brought to the hospital til the day he was admitted in the jail to wait for his case hearing, he was always in pain and the doctor said he had develop an osteoarthrities or his cartilage within his joint begins to break down and his bones underneath begins to change.

During the hearing Noanna heard the pain her mom had gone through thinking she was lost while in another place when her dad brought her to attend another seminar workshop.

" We go to that place to look for my daughter, We never stop until the day she show up with her children", her mom explained.

" Me and my other childrens always posted in that place her picture to let the people know the information they might call in case they found my daughter",her mom added. Noanna cried upon hearing that her mom and siblings had always comeback to the place where she was "supposedly" lost to look for her while her dad keep himself busy with his work. They explained at the first year he was helping or accompanying them in looking for her, and up to the day she came out of the basement they had no idea where she is.

" My dad had always told me that as a daughter I should always respect and follow him.When he started raping me when I was twelve years old, after that I was not allowed to talk to anybody, even to mom or my other siblings, even to my friends. Dad always bring me whereever he goes., he said I don't need to go to school, but I wanted to finish My high school so he let me through home school.", Noanna related her story, she further talk about her experience of the cruelty of her dad to her until she began having children the facial expressions of those present during those hearing was so grim. If the hatred on their eyes toward her father can kill, he is already dead at that time. As they listen on how Noanna relate her and her childrens story the people around wanted to kill Rudy.

Even her children were asked about their experiences,because each of them was a witness to the abuses done by their father.

Rudy had been declared guilty by the judged and sentence death by hanging for abusing her daughter Noanna, as well as her daughters Ninna, Rinna and Chanda. Kenna had been considered a hero for fighting her father so her mother and sisters will be saved and be able to escape in their miserable condition from the basement.

Their identity had been kept hidden from the public to avoid further scandals and humiliation.

The pension of their father and big portion of the property he had acquired was divided for Vera and her kids, Noanna's kids Marko and Kenna was sent to school, they had taken alternative learning school for six months and kenna got a perfect score in the exam, again she had taken the same process in high school and again she got a perfect score during exam.She proceeded to college taking Medical Technologist she graduated cumlaude and top1 during board exam she proceeded to become a pediatrician and again she become the top 1 in board exam for medicine.

Marko had graduated in business management course and become a successful businessman.

Noanna's suspicion about Ninna and Chanda had been confirmed, both has mild autism that had been proven after they undergo medical check ups. Rinna had to be treated by phsychologist because she had develop a nervous breakdown. after a year all three of them were enrolled also in school. Ninna and Chanda in a school for people with special needs and Rinna just like Marko and Kenna had taken ALS, and eventually goes to college and taken course in social work. Noanna regain her youthful beauty and found a man who had loved her dearly whom she married , she hadn't kept her past from her husband.

Kenna had taken formal training in martial arts, after a month of training she got a black belt for she had been undefeatef during training and she had develop unexplainable strength. She had competed international and always bring home triumphantly medals, trophies and big amount of money.

Noanna had loved her children instead of hating them being the product of her father's abuses, but like her they were also abused unwilling victim of her devil father. As she thought about it her life might had been very different if she had told her mother earlier that her father was abusing her. It might had been stopped entirely if she had been courageous to tell her friends what's going on.

But because she remained silent and let her cowardice takes her further. She had given her father access and power to abuse her to the highest level. If she had stood up for her right and had been courageous, she and her children hadn't experience those cruelty and more abusive acts that extended to her children. They were treated like animals and not humans by her own father. Like a paid whore that had to give in to his whim..

Anyway all is well that ends well, still she's lucky she had been given a chance to be able to escape and recuperate from the painful past with her children. Now all she have is the love and support as well as the understanding of her whole family without her father, luckily her children never blame her for all her mistakes they just care and love her

unconditionally.
