"Damara? May I know who you are looking for?
«No no no no! Sir Raymi…»
"Answer me, Daymara," he insisted suspiciously.
"I…um…"
Normally I could lie pretty fast, but he caught me off guard.
"That is none of your business, Sir Raymi," was all I could think of to reply.
He fast blinked.
Maybe I could use the strategy of being offended.
"I can't believe that you are poking your nose into my private affairs," I continued, feigning anger, "the truth is, I expected more from you, a man whom I considered honorable and respectful."
"Um… Daymara… I…"
"No, I don't want to listen to you. Excuse me…"
I turned around and walked away as fast as possible. I turned a corner, then another and another and another... until I got lost in the streets of the capital.
I breathed easy. There was no sign of Sir Raymi.
«Please, Supreme, forgive me»
