Months have passed since the coronation now. Kalona was overlooking her city from a balcony. Winter has already set in, the Bearserkers, and Lamia are now hibernating. So the Harpies have taken the main breeder role. Along with the few Oni women that volunteered.

Serphina has fully matured during this time. She took her role as the Lamia Matriarch immediately. Serphina also developed refined taste when it came to being bred.

She had declared to Kalona, "I will only be bred my males of ability. Which is why I'll make them fight in tournaments daily weekly. The one that wins the weekly tournament gets to breed me. Not just anyone will be able to enter though. They'll need a reputation first."

Kalona was amused by Serphina's idea and let it happen. It all went well and was conducted civilly. After two weeks of breeding, it could already be seen that Serphina's progeny turned out much stronger than others. A sort of selective breeding that Kalona also does.
