Deadened, Elder Li glanced at those papers as she recalled the previous times when Lu Jianjun was this furious. She remembered the first time Lu Jianjun came to meet her. At that time, Lu Jianjun had offered to take Li Na's responsibility, her education up to her living expenses, and everything.

Li Na had never shared anything with her grandparents about her personal life so delighted to see a young man from an elite family asking for Li Na, Grandma Li thought maybe Lu Jianjun has fallen in love with Li Na and wishes to marry her in the near future but that was not the case. Elder Li asked Lu Jianjun to confirm her thoughts and he strainght forwardly declined to say he never intended to do any of that. Then what was his intentions?

Spontaneously, Elder Li refused Lu Jianjun's offer! How could she allow her granddaughter to be a mistress? If not for making her a mistress then why does he wants to spend his money on her? Elder Li has seen many riches bluffing and using young girls saying they want to help them she knew why most of them do so much charity for orphans.

After rejecting Lu Jianjun's offer Grandma Li strictly warned Li Na to stay away and be careful of the man named: Lu Jianjun.

Little did she knew what kind of impact Li Na had, and what she did behind her back, because Elder Li was stringent with the legal matters. Li Na had planned to legally disown her family without the knowledge of her grandparents but Li Na never considered that Lu Jianjun will go and ask for her grandmother's consent.

Looking at the documents, Elder Li reflected that she should have seen Li Na's blind one-sided love for him. And only if she had known earlier and could stop Li Na then, maybe her granddaughter would not have tried to attempt suicide. Li Na's madness for Lu Jianjun is the thing Elder Li wants to guard her against.

Distressed, Elder Li warned the man: "Lu Jianjun if you can't marry her? It's better to leave her."

Lu Jianjun's eyes flashed. "That's my personal decision to take. I can't tolerate your unwanted interference in it."

Master Lu looked at the stubborn man horrifyingly as he felt like he didn't know him at all. Lu Jianjun signed an agreement with Li Na! This was shocking news for him to know after spending endless years convincing his son to marry the girl.

Just an agreement? So, that's how he took her responsibility! He never agreed to marry her nor intended to. Master Lu felt miserable knowing that his son had almost ruined an innocent girl by constraining her with himself for his selfishness.

Helplessly sighing, Master Lu stated: "Lu Jianjun, I never thought you could be this cruel and shameless. It's good that your mother didn't see you becoming a monster." Lu Jianjun eyes darkened instantly. He snatched the file from his assistant and roughly tossed it onto the table. His eyes turned distant not wanting to say anything anymore.

Tossing the file, he turned to leave but paused momentarily before Elder Li, "Keep it and read the documents properly before giving your judgments. Every clause was inserted according to Li Na's wish, it's too late to regret now," saying so, he walked out of the room.

Lu Jianjun had personally came to throw the papers on Li Na's face. How dared she commit suicide? He has given her everything, money, freedom, a luxurious lifestyle. What else she wants? Lu Jianjun had taken her responsibility, for her betterment and his personal reasons, he didn't hold any alternative motive behind that nor he forced anything on Li Na.

The agreement was never his idea. She was free to live or love. Moreover, it was Li Na herself who wanted to sign the agreement, which really surprised him. How could a girl like to be bound? She wanted to tie herself! As she told him this way her grandmother won't be able to intervene which could be a concern for him.

Lu Jianjun pinched the space between his brows with eyes closed as he tried to relax heading back to the office. But couldn't stop thinking of what happened in the hospital. Suddenly his phone rang it was from Lu Jun-hui. Reluctantly, Lu Jianjun picked up the call after a few ringing,

"Hello, Brother, Where are you?"

"..."

Bitting his nails and a finite amount of time later, Lu Jun-hui's brain started to adapt after a lengthy brainstorming, he had finally found the guts to call Lu Jianjun and then, 'No answer, not even a word. Terrible mood. Shit! I must not disturb?'

Lu Junhui thought of making excuse but then he remembered anxiously he started mumbling to himself. 'If I didn't tell him then the father will kill me! Oh God, I wish mother could save me from her short-tempered husband and her wild-tempered son.' Lu Junhui felt like crying, both of them scared the shit out of him.

Irritated, Lu Jianjun said, "Stop babbling and speak up!"

Lu Jun-hui rubbed his face and pinched himself here and there. He has to convey the message, clearing his throat,"Ohh.. I'll come to the point. Bro, I-I was saying,..." Lu Jun-hui tried to recall.

"Ah, What was-s I saying...Why did I call you?" He completely forgot the reason. His mind went blank.

On the other side, Lu Jianjun's expression became worst. "..."

Lu Jun-hui! He never learned to handle the pressure. Lu Jianjun wondered why the hell he made Lu Jun-hui the boss of " Glam Queen" and how the heck Lu Jun-hui is going to manage.

"Lu Jun-hui, write down what I say!" Lu Jianjun said gashing his teeth.

Snapping out of his leaking head, Lu Jun-hui said "Ah? Ohh...Yes, yes. Give me a minute." he searched for a pen on his desk but couldn't find it.

Running out of patience, Lu Jianjun asked. "Is your screen on?"

"Yea, I do work in-office hours." Lu Jun-hui lied.

"Then type a mail."

Lu Jun-hui ran and snatched his assistant's pen and said," Found it. Found It. I found my pen."

"Boss, your orders."

Lu Jianjun grasped what he did. Overlooking he stated, "Shift Li Na to Versailles Manor."

Lu Jun-hui: "Okay, shift...Li Na to... Versailles ma...What? Why?Hell, No?" Lu Junhui cried out loudly.

Lu Jianjun: "Really? You got a problem?"

Lu Jun-hui quaked."Y-Yes, NO, No. I-I mean why?"

"Follow the orders or you're fired." a deadly voice resounded.

Beep, beep, beep.

'Fired? It's just been a few days since I have joined.' Lu Jun-hui cried.

Minutes after Lu Jianjun left. Elder Li came back to her senses, she took a deep sigh before picking up the file on the table. After keeping it in her bag she went to see her granddaughter.

Inside the room, Li Na dreamt of all the sweet memories she had. Countless memories rolled with a flash of light. Her happiness, laughter, joy, teasing, a few awkward moments with her loved ones. A perfect life. She was the pride of her parents...engaged to the man she loved...she went to meet him...and in the end. Zoop!

Reflexively her eye shot open. She stared in a daze and her eyes were filled with shock. The last vision was clear in a high definition image before her. It was of a bullet entering between her brows.

What the bloddy hell?

Suddenly, Li Na felt a sting of pain in her eyes she couldn't endure the tears of sadness, aggression, anger. She never felt like this as if someone had given her a tight slap. The memory played several times in her mind. The up-close penetration she witnessed when she turned to look towards the shuffling sound behind the trees.

Disrupted yet oblivious, Li Na lay on the bed without batting her eyes while nourishing her own thoughts. Unaware of her real surroundings.

It was then a nurse, who entered the room saw Li Na wide awake. The nurse immediately turned to call the Doctors.

After a few minutes, Li Na began to realized something.

Her eyes roamed on the ceiling above her head. Is this a room? Her thinking was beyond the realm of earth. She wasn't interested in the aftermath of life. She felt like resting her eyes forever.

Yet curiously, her eyes began to move swiftly around the room as her mind popped out of the bubble of the grief of death, she felt surely real. She was not only conscious but physically alive.

How is this possible? It's a hospital room.

A weak voice buzzed in her head, 'You didn't die?'

Are you kidding me? That's impossible!

Unacceptable! How can I survive a headshot?

'It is a hospital.' Her mind was imparting on its own and she can't deny it even if she wants to. 'Everything is real.' Gradually, her attention was drawn to a shocking reality just as she perceived that fact.

She clutched the sheets her head spinning in circles as her eyes dimmed before they blackout. Li Na collapsed and fainted while her body was drenched in sweat.
