"What the fuck!!! I didn't get paid for this!" The boss said running through the forest as he jumped over branches and rocks trying to run from the blue green spectrum that ran madly after him like a hungry animal.

(Spectral screaming noises.)

The specter let out a startling, deadly scream behind the boss who felt his body freeze for a moment before regaining control, but that was enough for him to lose his balance and trip over a rock and fall to the ground.

" Oh shit!" He screamed and tried to get up quickly but the Shade jumped on him and forced him to the ground while screaming in his face, the boss screamed in despair and fear, his pants started to get wet but he didn't have time to think about it.

" Enough." Diana's voice resounded in the room and the Shade got off the man who was terrified of fear but the latter didn't dare move when he was released as he was smart enough to know he wasn't going to escape.

Diana slowly approached him, with every step she took the grass around her feet died as if it had been drained, "Please forgive me I didn't know you were alive." The man started to beg for her life but Diana ignored him and slowly approached him before reaching out and touching her head.

The mist writhed through her hand and entered the head of the man who didn't even have time to react when his eyes turned green and his mind was controlled, "Now let's take a look at your memories." Diana muttered and made the fog replay the memories and knowledge in the man's head.

His eyes lit up as a ton of information entered his head, from the man's childhood to adolescence and adulthood, his love affairs, family issues and how he got into this line of work but that wasn't what interested Diana who took it all the information in common knowledge smiled contentedly before standing up and forcing the man over his control to follow her back to the van.

Once there they took the other dry corpse out of the van and everyone got in before leaving, "Go to the north side of town near the outskirts." Diana said to her controlled puppet and sat on the bench next to her wraith as she directed all the information in her head and planned the next course of action.

She soon began to think.

"The fog is like a tree, it needs a place to be planted and take root and the more nutrient-rich that place the faster it grows and gets stronger however I need to find out something else first." Diana spoke mentally before opening her eyes and looking at her snow-white and deathly pale hand, "First what am I and second, am I supposed to be good or bad?" She wondered, feeling that something told her that good was the right choice but the fog screamed that bad was the necessary choice.

This doubt haunted her for a while and it added to the fact that she didn't have her memories started to stress her, "Let's put this issue aside for now, I must first think about what's best for me." She said and started looking out the window as the van moved forward.

Soon the forest landscape changed and she saw a bright city in the distance with thousands of different colors which ended up captivating her, "How beautiful." She said putting her hand on the window and continued to stare at the glowing city as they approached.
