Franklin narrowed his eyes. "I don't---"
"Believe it? Well, I would have found you a lousy science student if you did." Professor Schiller chuckled lightly. "To find proof before considering something as a fact--- That is how knowledge must be acquired, right? Going away from mysticism and delving into the field of fact and logic..... That is what we scientists do."
He handed the vial to Franklin's small hands once more. "Hold on to this for me as I undress, will you?"
"Huh?" Franklin narrowed his eyes, his usual aloofness that was uncommon for children his age disappearing. This caused far too much surprise to him that he had reverted back to how a child would usually act.
As Professor Schiller reached out to pull the maroon ascot from his neck, he found himself grinning ear to ear as the little boy watched him with wide eyes. He did not know why, but the wanted to tease the poor kid more.
