[Warning: Assault/Violence]

Oh, how I had missed this feeling. The rush of adrenaline, the loud music blocking all other sounds, whilst my hips swayed along to its rhythm.

After the meal, one thing led to another and we ended up at a hotspot Sam frequented. Luckily the bouncers did not know she was no longer a young missy and we had VIP treatment. No queue for us.

Now it was reaching almost two in the morning and for some reason, I was still going strong.

The small black dress I wore clung to my frame due to sweat as I made my way back to the table where Sophie was half asleep.

Laughing I prodded her on the nose, "take her back Sam, let her sleep on my bed," I nudged Sam who was typing on her phone.

"What about you?" She frowned, putting her phone down to pass me the water. I gulped it down greedily.

"I've got other plans," I winked, pulling out my phone from the bag beside Sophie.

I ordered two ubers, one for me and one for the girls. After seeing them into theirs, I lingered, taking in the fresh winter air.

"Fay," a voice I had not wanted to hear again, called out to me from down the street.

Zane, with a few of his buddies, was approaching the nightclub we had just left.

Turning back down to my phone, pleased the uber was only a few minutes away, I ignored him. This only enraged him further. He stomped in front of his laughing, drunk friends and tried to grab the mobile from me.

I took a few steps to the side, dodging him.

"What are you doing here all alone, dressed like..." His eyes looked me up and down with both lust and rage.

I was nothing like the original Fay, to the point I was concerned that System had messed up in finding a soul frequency to match my own.

Instead of her frumpy baggy clothes, she enjoyed hiding inside. I wore tight, dark clothing, that helped me blend in when needed and never restricted my movement.

Tonight I'd picked a small black dress, with straps showing off my heaving cleavage, fishnets, and thick steel-toe-capped boots. My makeup was heavy and gothic and with Sam's help, I'd added a few piercings to my upper right ear.

"I'm waiting to go home to my dearest, so if you don't mind," I scoffed at him and tip-toed to spot the silver car heading my way.

Too distracted in checking the license plate matched the app, I did not realise his hand gripped my arm until the pain. Damn this body was so fragile.

"Let go," I spoke through gritted teeth.

"Who is your dearest?" His frowned face scared me a little. There was that manic obsession. I wonder if poor little Fay knew how deep this man was into her before?

"Not you, and that is all you need to know," Scoffing, I placed my phone into my small body bag.

"Just what happened to you? What are you trying to prove?" His frown disappeared, replaced by a look of panic and concern. So quickly his face changed its tone, it confused me.

"Do you recall what happened the last time you refused to listen to me?" I smiled brightly, resting my free hand on my hip.

His grip may have trembled but it remained firm, if not tighter on my arm.

"I explained everything you needed to know in that hotel room, the girl you are chasing after is dead."

Still, his grip did not waver. The car beeped its horn, the driver clearly impatient. If this dragged on it may just leave without me.

"I need to go, now let me go whilst I'm still playing nice," I warned, feeling System's warmth sobering me and providing strength.

He leaned closer, pushing my back into the rough brick behind me.

"Why? Why are you refusing me? You promised to follow me always," tears crept into the corner of his eyes. There was no talking sense into this man. A man who trusted the words of a scared, insecure little girl even into adulthood.

"I told you she died," I stamped onto his foot, feeling the satisfying crunch of bone.

Instead of calling out in pain and letting go as I had envisioned, he pushed me hard against the brick and kissed my unmoving lips.

Bile climbed in my throat, as I wriggled in an attempt to push him away. Why was he so strong?

His teeth tore my lower lip, spilling blood.

"Enough," I growled, this time kicking his shin and finally he let me go.

"The next time you approach me, don't blame me for what I do," I shouted, before escaping into the backseat of the car.

"Lovers tiff?" The elderly man chuckled at my state but drove on.

"More like I've got myself a crazy psycho ex," I growled quietly.

"System what was that? I thought you made me strong?" I complained internally, whilst focusing on my breathing to calm down.

"I did," it whined in response, "I can only do so much, but it should have been enough."

"It seems I need to focus more on strengthening this body," I hummed as I thought back.

"You can do it, host," its tone pepped up like an excited cheerleader.

"Shut up, my head hurts," I rubbed my aching temples, taking note that we were in the nicer end of the city centre now. These houses were in the suburbs, with more greenery and lower buildings.

A zipping sound played in my head, making me giggle like a crazy person. The poor driver just looked straight ahead, choosing to ignore me.

Tipping the driver, grateful for him waiting and staying silent, I exited the uber and stared up whistling at the three-story modern villa.

"Nice," System peeped up.

"Indeed," I muttered back and typed in the code on the gate that had been on the paperwork. Thankfully it worked and I walked up the pathway, feeling eyes watching me from the shadows.

It took an eye scan and thumbprint to open the door without the key. When I left the dorms I had every intention to return there and not here. I was still in disbelief at the idea I had of coming here and was beginning to regret it as I stumbled through the door.

Think Mr. Yandere got the message yet?
