The spar ,The gifted julian.

Time passed, and sam and julian reached age of 6. both julian and sam grew up strong and looked more like 10 years old. It was due to sam using his Qi when every they were asleep. During there birthdays. Each of them asked for different things.

While sam asked for a book about cursed land of forgotten. Julian asked for a custom sword for him. Their father said that they would start training after they reached 6.

Sam's birth day was decided to celebrated on the day he was found. But, No one ever told sam that he was adopted. He was raised like a child of ross. It been 2 months after the sams birthday.

Sam was about to finish reading the book he received on his birthday. it took him longer as it seems to contain some kind of hidden messages.

Inside the library, as sam was reading he heard a loud voice.

"Sam lets spar."

it was julian who barged inside the library while shouting. Sam looked at julian and spoke.

"after I read this book"

But julian didn't give up.

"i helped you skip your lunch. Now lets spar."

Yesterday, sam was at critical moment of deciphering a hidden message in side the book as he didn't want to stop. To which like few times in the past julian helped take his meals and ate it himself. It was a way julian found it make sam own him things.

"okay."

Sam closed the book and got up. When julian put his arm around sams neck as they left the library. They headed toward a open place at the rear part of the castle which was there training place.

As they reached it. There was a middle aged man with a warrior build standing their. Looking at julian dragging sam along, the the middle aged man couldn't help but smile.

"look uncle reed, I brought sam early today."

Julian said to the middle aged man. The middle aged man was non other then reed. Right hand man of duke or commander of troops in this city.he was also present when sam was rescued.

"good, good."

That was what reed said. They made it seem like sam usually runs from training. but it was not quite right. Aden said that they should at least train with reed 3 days a week. It was julian who trains every day.

It how sam likes reading, julian like swinging his sword. And he was good at it. That uncle reed and their father call him genius. It not that sam was bad at it. But even though sam hold himself back from increasing his Qi. He still stronger and faster than julian.

To make things fair. Sam slowed downed his Qi circulation. Which made him slower. Sam also didn't use his Qi vision by which he could see the flow of Qi.

To other it felt like due to sam reading books all day, he was physically weak and can't react fast enough. That is why julian wants to make take his brother to train more. And uncle reed agreed with julian.

"what are you teaching us today uncle reed?"

Sam asked as he already know that the 'spar' would happen only after training. Reed looked at sam and said with a blank face.

"nothing new until both of you awaken. Practice as usual."

And so they did. It was set of movement while swinging their wooden sword. It consist of stab, slash, parry, counter and leg movements to move forward,sideways and backwards. In changing order to let their bodies get used to such movements and build strong basics.

It continued for few minutes and break and it was repeated 2 more times. As they were tired. They sat on the ground. While they were practicing reed corrected them when ever they made a mistake.

As they sat on the ground. Diana came towards them while holding their sister. Reed bowed to diana to which she gestured him to that its fine. Then spoke to julian and sam.

"are you going spar today?"

To which julian reponded while getting up.

"yeah mom. We will show adiana how strong her brothers are."

Sam also got up. When he heard a cute little voice calling him.

"sam. sam"

Little Adiana called him while reaching her hands towards sam. Sam smiled and walked towards her and placed his hand on her head ans said.

"later adiana, brother is all sweaty now."

"swa..ti?" 

Adian asked in cute puzzled voice to which sam nodded while wiping his hand on his forehead and showing her what sweat is. Julian and even diana looked at both of them in jealousy. As adiana always likes sam too much that even her first worlds were 'cham' . julian couldn't help himself pulled sam back while saying to adiana.

"look how strong your big brother is adiana."

Diana couldn't help but laugh when she saw it. This time julian decided not to hold himself back and to show his little sister who was stronger brother.

After a few seconds, both sam and julian were facing each other while holding wooden swords. As reed gave them the signal, julian moved towards sam while slashing his sword at sam's shoulder. Sam barely blocked the sword in time.

It continued like that with julian keep on attacking from different side without giving sam a chance to attack. Until sam instead of blocking dodged side ways and stabbed his sword at julians stomach. To which julian also dodged side ways.

And swung his sword at sam's wrist and due to sam not expecting julian to dodge his stab. Julians sword hit sam's wrist and sam droped his sword.

Julian smile as he said.

"i win again, sam"

Sam didn't seem sad at all as he said

"yes, you did."

Julian looked at his mother and sister to hear praises and his mother didn't disappoint him at all.

"nice one julian. But go easy on you brother. Okay?"

"i will mom."

"you did good too sam."

"hmm"

Sam didn't say much but only nodded while humming he was not sad at all.but uncle reed put a hand on his shoulder and said.

"its not that you are bad sam. Instead you are stronger than kids at your age it just that julian is gifted in combat."

Sam nodded again. While saying

"i know. Uncle reed."

After that julian and sam got fresh up. And both spent some time entertaining their little sister while they had lunch. And it was time to study.

Julian like a kids his age wanted to skip. But this time sam dragged him towards library with their mother and adiana following alone. While diana was teaching julian about history. Sam was telling his little sister stories about adventures while make different kind of expressions and imitations to make adiana understand his words better.

As they were in library something unexpected happen the air around julian started to started to rotate when they heard diana's voice

"you are awakening julian. Stay clam as possible."
