"Alright, 3 Standard open-floor rooms, 4 bath, 2 floors, plus a basement lab supplied by Specific Electronics. With additions such as E-tier training ground in the rear and geno-bath. All included total comes out to 3.7 million in total. Please sign here."

'Now that's a number. I really need to establish a stable source of income. I hope this blacksmithing skill will prove reliable.'

"Alright, here are the keys to all of the facilities. The maintenance department business card and my personal business card as well. Have a nice day." With a wink she headed home.

'I guess all that's left is to keep going forward.'

Hours later he found himself in the lab with mountains of materials. First, he brought out the cages of rat beasts that were on sale.

Thief rats were one of the biggest plagues in the United NorthWest (UNW - Canada, U.K. U.S. Greenland, Iceland, etc.). This led to many domestication attempts and countless uses in scientific experiments.

It was found that the bones of these particular breeds are very dense and flexible. Then the real process began.

As a lover of gloves and hand - to - hand combat Donny knew even in the apocalypse he would fight with his fist. The only weapons he ever cared for were daggers and staffs for their versatility, but his heart always remained in the art of beating your opponent with his own two hands.

He brought up the blueprint he drew up on his phone and noticed a text from his sister and one from his friend from his school days.

Taylor: I got the address you sent. I am on my way.

Isaac: Hey, Jason, do you have a weapon I could use? I am going on a hunt soon and Skylar broke my lance.

'Oi, I told him to break up with that psychopath years ago. He just won't listen. I said I would stay out of it, but I can help him out. He could be my first customer. If he could give me a shoutout with the size of his fanbase that could be a great start.'

Isaac Dullmon is one of the top local jr hunters and a social media influencer. In his all chrome get up and his Heavy mounted knight fighting style, one could not help but be in awe every time he stepped on the battlefield.

Yet, he couldn't fight. His ancestral ability is horse breeding, but his family normally buys him the top of the line equipment to shore up his weaknesses. So many who watch him look at him more as a walking commercial for the hottest weapons manufacturers in the area.

The only problem is that his family didn't agree with his relationship with Skylar either and if they were to find out she broke his Elite X-Space 731 Rifle-Lance Corvette, one could only imagine their fury. That weapon is so top of the line only 30 exist.

His family was able to get one because of their connections in the business world.

If I am to help him I will need to create something different. Something that can be made cheap but be very effective.

Donny was always a war nerd so studying weapons and schematics were a must. While the 731 is a high-tech weapon, that's only the modern outlook.

'Interesting, but how does it judge what's valuable? I guess, now is not the time, but that will definitely come in handy. I thought equipment couldn't have skills without runes and core slots.'

'If I don't need to be a runemaster to add skills I might be able to market that. Now to install the circuits and the claws.'

In the schematics, the main focus of the claw weapon is hand defense and counter striking. So it's strong suit is close range. To mitigate the long-distance weakness of the weapon a dynamic propulsion system would need to be installed to store and fire claw like darts.

After installing the system and the claws the weapon was complete.

For the next few hours he began to forge countless basic weapons. Well 13 to be exact. But it finally began to set in just how big the buff was when he finally made a good weapon and leveled up.

"Hey, bro, you in here?" Taylor said in a sing-song manner as she was making her way downstairs.

"Yeh, I am just finishing u -" As he was turning around a strange warning noise started going off in his head.

His perception may still be at 15 but that is in no way a low number. The average F-tier geno warrior has a perception of around 8. With the added bonuses in agility bringing that stat to 65 with the claws on, he was able to set down the apparatus in his hand and twirl the dagger around in a strange way.

'Huh, what's going on? Why do I feel so weak all of a sudden? Am I dying? But, how?'

Taylors' mind was in total disarray as she couldn't make heads or tails of what was going on, at all.

This was more than enough time for Donny to act. The effect only lasted 3 secs, so with a flick of his finger a claw dart was sent flying right as Taylors head.

*Swooshhh*

Right before it hit squarely in the middle of her forehead a wall of steam erupted in front of her melting the claw down to nothing.

"Hmm, needs to be more heat resistant, noted."

"Wait, brother, what was that? How did you do that?" The amazement and shock on her face could not be hidden as she stared at Donny as if he were a stranger in her brother's body.

"Something happened on the hunt I went on and I ended up awakening. I have been working on weapons. I might be able to start something in this field so I am trying my hand." After hearing his explanation Taylor took on a pensive look of understanding. Although she knew her brother was hiding more she left it to him to tell her more.

"Have you made any blades?"

"Yes, I actually just finished the daggers. If you don't mind, I know you practice in the backyard around this time. There is a training ground here that you can use. I would like to record you practicing with this dagger set."

"Are we allowed to train here?"

"Yes, we own this place."

"Since when?"

"Since earlier today when I bought it." Donny said in exasperation. Taylors hands flew to her hips as she walked toward him. Her eyes began to squint as she looked at him. "What?"

"Who did you rob?"

"Well although I could probably do that with my skills now, you know me better than that. Don't ask stupid questions. I came up on a big battle in the Forest of Naked Sand and recovered many corpses. So we also have plenty of beast meat to eat." Well, he didn't lie for the most part. He really did 'come across' many corpses.

"I am just messing with you. How did you make my thoughts all weird and when's dinner?"

"I am not a maid and plus I cooked the last few days before I left. If anything you should be cooking. Imagine this is me getting you ready for life. Yes. Yes." 'That definitely sounds parent-like.'

"Forget it, I'll cook. Now how did you do that?"

When he threw her the dagger she was able to read its nature through using her soul energy.

"Woah, you made this?"

"Yes, indeed."

"This is awesome. Can I have one?"

"Yes, one. I am planning to see if we can host an event to promote the store. So the other dagger will be the prize of the competition."

"But, the daggers are better together."

"I know, so if you want it, you will have to join the event as well." As he spoke a devilish smile grew on his face with malicious thoughts.

"What not fair, why?"

"Don't think I don't know about how you have been doing in school young lady."

"Huh? What do you mean? My grades are good." A look of panic grabbed her as the fear of the unknown covered her. 'Am I forgetting something I missed? No, I turned in yesterday's homework. Wait did he find out I burned down the homeroom.'

"I am speaking of your rivalry with Denita Sovere. From what I hear the competition between you two is pretty tense."

"Yeh, so what?" The look of confusion on her face grew deeper. "Wait, you just want to use me to get her to join your stupid event. Thinking if I join then she will too. Well, I will let you know she only joins if the prize is something… I… want…" She trailed off as the realization dawned on her.

"Yep, with this video as a commercial, she's sure to join. With you two here others will join as well. Especially your groupies." Denita and Taylor are the 2 goddesses of their school. Both beautiful young women in their own right but their demeanor and power draws many eyes.

"It doesn't matter. The dagger will be mine anyway, and if it isn't I want something better." With that she stuck out her tongue and ran to the training ground to train.
