Wasted Time.

I didn't have time to start explaining shit, like, I had a fucking quest to accomplish. And not like I'd even be able to tell her the true means in which I got the money to buy these clothes and shoes.

So I responded once again, "We'd talk about that later. Right now, I have an important place to be at, and time is going".

She didn't say anything else, and with that, I walked out of the house.

I was walking on the road so elegantly right now. I noticed a few people staring at me as I was walking past them or as they were walking past me.

I was looking so cool and handsome. As known, I was a handsome dude normally, with these nice-looking things on me, I was looking way more handsome.

Get a random girl on the streets to become attracted to me, and she has to be with her boyfriend...yes, that was the quest I needed to accomplish.

I had already made myself look attractive enough with the help of the system. What I needed to do next was to find a girl that was with her boyfriend and try to see if I could make her become attracted to me.

It would just be like drawing her attention away from her boyfriend and making her focus on me...

It sounded easy, but it wouldn't be easy, unless the universe decides to make it easy for me. Who knows whether all the girls I'd come across that were with their boyfriends would be so in love with them that they don't care about other boys no matter how handsome or nice-looking they were.

But I'd still have to try though, I have to try my best. It was $35,000 we were talking about here.

It was already evening, everywhere was already darkening little by little as the sun was already leaving, and the moon would be replacing it soon.

But though everywhere was already darkening, streetlights wouldn't be needed yet...it was still far from reaching that.

So that meant everyone could still see themselves clearly and the things around. I was still seeing people clearly as I was walking, and I was still seeing the things around clearly as well.

What I was looking for while walking on the road were couples. Yes, I was looking for guys that were with their girlfriends, whether they were standing, or sitting, I didn't care.

All I knew was that I was looking for couples so I could implement what I had in mind.

I needed to draw away a heroine's attention from her hero and get her to focus her attention on me.

I needed to make a heroine become attracted to me...

Time was counting as I was walking on the road. There was still time, I still had a few hours left to accomplish the quest, but I can't be dependent on this and become relaxed.

If I didn't take time, that few hours I had left to accomplish the quest would reduce to minutes, and then the minutes would reduce to seconds, and then the time duration would go by.

And that was how I'd fail the quest even though I was given a good 2 hours 30 minutes as the time limit to accomplish it.

So I can't afford to be relaxed, I have to be acting quickly, and that was exactly what I was doing.

There were some long chairs on the sides of the streets as I was walking, and I could see people sitting on them. But the people I'd seen sitting on them were like old couples, some group of boys, some group of ladies, and so on.

I hadn't seen what I was looking for, which was a girl with her boyfriend. I hadn't seen any of them sitting on the chairs on the sides of the streets.

..But I was going to keep searching, I knew I was going to find one soon.

And you know what? I finally found one after walking for about a minute more. It was a boy and a girl sitting on one of the chairs on one side of the street.

I didn't need anyone to tell me that they were a couple 'cause it was evident from the way they were conversing with each other, and the way they were smiling at each other.

I even saw them kiss each other on the lips a few times.

'They seem to be so in love with each other, would I be able to divert the girl's attention to me and make her become attracted to me?'. I thought to myself after seeing them kiss each other a few times.

It wouldn't be easy from what I was seeing, but I still needed to try out my luck though and see how things would go.

The good thing was that there was another long chair not too far from the chair they were sitting on. I was going to sit on that chair after I'd done what I had in mind to do right now.

I hadn't walked past them yet. I saw them and everything they were doing without walking past them...

I wanted to walk past them with so much swag, so I could get the guy's girlfriend to notice me. And you know I also sprayed the perfume I bought before leaving the house.

So by the time the fragrance of the perfume flowed into their nostrils as I was walking past them, there's no way the girl wouldn't glance at me.

I walked past them with so much swag and was looking so cool. And as expected, the fragrance of the perfume I sprayed flowed into their nostrils as I was walking past them.

The both of them glanced at me immediately, and the girl got to notice my swag and also noticed that I was charming...I was a handsome guy.

They kept on staring at me even after I'd walked a few meters away from them. And their gazes were still focused on me until I reached the chair that wasn't far from theirs and sat on it.

Sitting on the chair, I noticed that the both of them were staring at me currently. And it made my heart glad, I succeeded in grabbing not only the girl's attention, I grabbed the boy's attention as well.

Well, the boy didn't glance at me for too long before taking his gaze off me. So right now, it was only the girl that was staring at me.

And that was exactly what I wanted because it was the girl I needed to make become attracted to me, not the boy.

Well, the girl later took her gaze off me and focused them on her boyfriend after the passing of a few seconds...and I was so disappointed.

'Maybe she'd focus her gaze on me soon again. She's with her boyfriend, so even though she'd become attracted to me, she wouldn't want to show it completely yet because she's with her boyfriend,

I should just give her some more time and see how things would play out. She needs to become completely attracted to me and focus her attention on me that she wouldn't even care about her boyfriend's feelings for me to accomplish the quest'. I thought to myself.

She didn't glance at me again for the past few minutes. Instead, she just focused her full attention on her boyfriend as they were conversing and laughing as well.

I got to discern something while still sitting on that chair. Yes, she got to notice that I was handsome and had swag which caught her attention...but that doesn't mean she was attracted to me.

She was too in love with her boyfriend to become attracted to another guy that easily. I might be wrong with this discernment of mine, but there was a very high chance I wasn't wrong.

Well, I confirmed that my discernment wasn't wrong at all when the both of them stood up from the chair they were sitting on and began walking away.

The girl didn't even glance at me for a second throughout this period. Maybe she'd even forgotten that an attractive guy sat on the chair that was close to the one they were sitting on...

The two of them were done having fun and conversing, so they decided to walk away.

'I just wasted time sitting here. Time is fucking counting, I can't afford to fail this quest and miss out on the money'. I thought to myself and stood up from the chair I was sitting on.

..I'd already wasted time sitting on this chair hoping for the girl to become completely attracted to me. I needed to begin looking for another couple with immediate effect.
