CHAPTER 56: I Saved Myself

And then there was another bolt of lightning came rushing down. Naramdaman ko na lang ang elektrisidad na bumalot sa bawat himaymay ng katawan ko.

For a split second, my heart stopped beating. Hindi ako makahinga. And when I closed my eyes, I felt this blackness came over me. It covered my consciousness with a blanket of coldness that made my body shiver. Until I couldn't breathe and it swallowed me whole.
