"Itsukie~"

Daichi sang trying to get his boyfriend to wake up.

He woke up a while earlier but was too distracted looking at his boyfriend in adoration to wake him up.

However after fifteen minutes of cooing he knew he really needed to wake him.

He rubbed Itsuki's stomach and shook him saying

"Wake up babie"

Itsuki rolled over onto his tummy and buried his face in the pillows trying to block out disturbances of his precious sleep.

Daichi let out a small sigh because Itsuki's cuteness was testing him.

He tried to roll Itsuki over again but couldn't because Itsuki just kept rolling back, somehow still asleep.

Daichi quickly ran out of ideas so said to the sleeping boy

"You complain about me not waking up yet when it's first thing in the morning your like a brick. Double standards Itsukie."

Daichi places a gentle kiss in the back of Itsuki's neck before standing up and going to brush his teeth and take a quick shower.

By the he came out, with just a towel lazily wrapped around his waist, Itsuki was miraculously awake.

"Nice of you to finally join us in the world of the living cutie."

Daichi said with a chuckle approaching the bed.

Itsuki still had his dummy in his mouth but was kind of out of it.

Normally when he was up, full of energy and running around but in that moment he wasn't.

He looked like he was ready to go back to sleep.

Daichi only originally came back out to grab his pants since he forgot them but when he saw Itsuki he started to worry.

Call him over dramatic or not but he knew Itsuki and he knew something was different.

"itsukie , you okay?"

Daichi said as he walked over.

Itsuki looked at him and tiredly made grabby hands at Daichi which wasn't convenient because Daichi was only in a towel still so he quickly said

"One second, let me put my pants on in the bathroom."

He froze when he heard small whimpers from Itsuki and turned back to see his dummy had fallen out and he was still making grabby hands at Daichi.

Daichi grabbed his pants out of his over night bag and then went back over to Itsuki , kissing his head lightly and putting the dummy back in his mouth just as a reflex which stopped him crying but he was still sadly making grabby hands.

Daichi kissed his cheek and said

"I'll be quick."

before rushing into the bathroom.

He picked his phone up off of the counter in the bathroom and quickly dialed Mrs Park.

The phone rung twice before she answered.

"Hello~ Is everything going okay dear?"

Mrs Park asked cheerily.

Daichi instantly whisper yelled and rushed saying "I ThInK sOmEtHiNg Is WrOnG wItH ItSuKi."

Mrs Park froze for a minute processing the words and quickly replied

"Why? What's happened? What's wrong? tell me less rushed than we're both speaking"

once she did.

Daichi explained

"He wouldn't wake up this morning so I left him. Then I came back after having a quick shower and he was awake but he didn't seem like the normal energetic bundle of joy which he normally is once he actually opened his eyes and moved. I asked him if he was okay and he said nothing and then he started to make grabby hands towards me which I was like okay maybe he's not feeling well but he'd at least say something right? So I asked him to give me a minute so I could go finish getting dressed because I forgot to get my pants out of my bag and I turned to leave and he started to cry. So then I noticed his dummy had fallen out of his mouth so I put it back then ran to the bathroom to get dressed quickly and I don't know why-"

Mrs Park interupting picking up on what was a vital piece of information and checked

"Did you say he has his dummy?"

"Uh- Yeah- Yes, he does."

Mrs Park let out a soft laugh and said

"He's probably been triggered into baby space then sweetie. Do you remember what I told you that one time over text?"

Daichi thought for a moment and slowly said "Yeeeeaaaaahhhhnnnooooo."

getting a chuckle from the other end of the phone before Mrs Park said

"It's okay sweetie i'll explain. But did he get his dummy through the night?"

Daichi nodded to himself and said

"Yes."

Mrs Park began to explain saying

"Okay he probably couldn't sleep, it helps. Normally I take it away before he wakes up in the morning though otherwise he gets sleepy and clingy which I don't mind but he does which in result makes him moody. He's probably just mentally exhausted right now which is why he couldn't sleep."

Daichi listened carefully and then asked

"Can I do anything to help him?"

Mrs Park hummed before answering

"Give him cuddles and kisses and affection and look after him. That's all you can do. He won't really say any words and if he does they will more than likely be monosyllabic. He doesn't like baby space because it makes him embarrassed so when he comes out of it, probably after his afternoon nap, he'll probably need comforting."

Daichi asked

"So cuddles, kisses and hugs. Comfort him when he comes out. And treat him like a baby in general?"

looking for reassurance which he got immediately.

"Exactly, as long as your comfortable with it. If not I can try and get home before the end of the conference-"

"It's okay Mrs Park I was just worried because he didn't seem like his usual energetic self. Thank you for the help and I'll take care of him."

Mrs Park smiled knowing Daichi would say that and said

"Ah thank you Daichi ~ Your so kind and understanding. My Itsukie did well finding you... or you falling asleep in class and getting sent to him... Speaking of which I hope you didn't fall asleep in class this week-"

Daichi quickly said

"THANK YOU FOR THE HELP MRS PARK, I GOTTA GO ITSUKI NEEDS ME."

and then hung up before he got scolded for sleeping in class.

Mrs Park had basically became his parental figure in Osaka when he wasn't visited by his mum.

Daichi quickly shimmied his pants on deciding he didn't want to waste time with his button up shirt so just went back out with his gray joggers, finding Itsuki sat teary eyed on the bed.

'This is going to be interesting.'
