Smile

Caroline steps seemed relaxed, she didn't care about what she had heard earlier. The condescending stares and cursing sounds he ignored, but in contrast to Luis who looked uncomfortable. With his hand holding Caroline, Luis tried to show that everything would be okay.

It all happened because of the incident earlier, the incident where she was the one looking for trouble with the Alpha. All the werewolves that were there had heard it. Of course Caroline wasn't surprised by that, it was clear that all of this happened because the Werewolf were talking about it.

"Ah.. until here you will be separated"

The woman named Jennifer looked at Luis and Caroline with a look of disdain. From the moment she saw Caroline and Luis she became aware of the sibling bond that bound them both. But rules are rules, female and male Werewolf territories are separated unless they are Mate's.

It was clear that Luis was surprised but Luis was aware of it. His bead looked at Caroline with a worried look. If he hadn't been fighting with Caroline, he wouldn't have been so worried about leaving him. Luis know that Caroline was still not okay and that was what made him doubt.

"Are you all right?"

If only Luis was a woman maybe he wouldn't be separated like this. But he will take care of Caroline in his way, although maybe he can't right now but Luis will try. This time he just wanted to make Caroline smile before he left her.

"You two are like lovers" joked Jennifer, looking cutely at Luis worried face.

Luis took Caroline hand, his eyes clearly saw how dry the wound was on Caroline hand. If Caroline hadn't been mad at him, he might have healed the wound. True, that could probably be one reason for Luis now. Luis immediately looked at Jennifer with a hopeful look.

"Take me to the infirmary"

Caroline shook her head at Luis who was very worried about her "Enough Luis, I'm fine!"

"What's good! You seem crazy!" said Luis showing Caroline dry wound.

"That's right, your wound will get infected if you let it" Jennifer was just trying to mediate between Luis and Caroline.

From the start she was quite attracted to Caroline, she was different from the other Werewolves. Like she found a rare flower in an unkempt garden "follow me" Jennifer said making Luis pull Caroline hand who could only give up.

Arriving at the infirmary, Luis immediately asked Caroline to sit down. His hands were painstakingly clean Caroline wound and Jennifer just watched by the infirmary door. Luckily the infirmary was empty otherwise there would have been a small commotion.

"I'll go first, it won't take long okay" Jennifer said smiling and immediately left the two cousins.

Luis chose to ignore it, all his thoughts were only filled with how to make his relationship with Caroline back to normal. His mind and hands were busy at the moment but that didn't mean Luis wasn't aware of the teardrops that ran down Caroline clothes.

Luis immediately looked up at Caroline who was crying silently, but what surprised Luis was a smile on Caroline's lips. How can Caroline cry and smile at the same time. Luis is afraid that if Caroline intends to give up, he is afraid and Luis immediately pulls Caroline in his arms.

It was better for him to see Caroline crying loudly, that was better than what he saw now. "I'm sorry.." Luis didn't know what to say other than sorry, that's all he could think of right now.

"You're not wrong." Caroline closed her eyes tightly with tears still streaming down her beautiful eyes.

"I should be the one apologizing to you, I always give you trouble. If I wasn't a flawed Werewolf I certainly wouldn't feel this way, but I'm glad you're by my side"

All these words Caroline had been holding back for a long time and now she can't hide her feelings. Feeling crushed because she was dumped in such a bad way like this. Caroline hugged Luis back, burying her face in Luis chest.

It feels warm and so comfortable, whether Luis's hugs are really this warm or all the hugs of people who love others are this warm. For some reason Caroline didn't want to let go of this hug, could she be selfish this time? Selfish to feel comfort that may not be present to him again.

"Oh.. looks like I came at the wrong time"

Jennifer voice made Caroline and Luis immediately let go of their embrace. It was clear that Jennifer was laughing lightly at the two cousins, it was just funny and she looked like she was just looking at a pair of lovers "you are not Mate but very romantic" Jennifer continued, intending to joke.

But those words were able to make Caroline realize that she was not allowed to be selfish. She was nothing to Luis, she was just a cousin and friend to Luis. It was supposed to be comfort for Mate Luis later, but instead she selfishly wanted to feel the hug.

And Luis noticed the change in Caroline's face "okay until we meet again Luis" Caroline said standing up and gave the sweetest smile.

Luis also smiled at Jennifer who waved her hand to take Caroline away from him. There was a warm feeling that was felt by Luis and Luis could only smile until a man greeted him.

"You're the new kid, introduce me Hugo an Alpha"

"Luis"

The man named Hugo immediately nodded and told Luis to follow him. Every now and then Hugo glanced at Luis who looked so relaxed, even though since Luis and his cousin's arrival the place had become noisy. Of course because of the news that Caroline was against the Alpha.

And he as the Alpha's subordinate clearly knew what was going on at that time, and Luis noticed Hugo annoying gaze "is there something wrong?"

"It's not just that all the werewolves are making noise because of your cousin's actions," said Hugo with a confused face.

Luis nodded, he obviously knew about it but he knew the reason Caroline did such a bad thing. If only he could calm Caroline down maybe the commotion wouldn't have happened. Luis sighed with his face down until he saw a pair of shoes right in front of him.

"You..!!" Luis looked at Hugo, who was looking at him, surprisingly.

"You seem to love your cousin very much" said Hugo considering the look on Luis face that had changed a hundred and eighty degrees.

"Are you worried about his condition, I heard he's a disabled Werewolf" Hugo continued making Luis hit Hugo face directly.

"Watch your words..!!!"
