Meeting

A sunny morning greeted Caroline, after the events two days ago Caroline began trying to adapt to this new environment. Many things happened including the condescending eyes of the werewolves he met. Some feel pity and some ignore Caroline's existence.

What was worse was Sena who kept ignoring her as if she wasn't even a human. They did live in the same room but the two never greeted each other. Let alone say hello and smile to each other never. It might be true that Sena brought food for himself and Luis that day.

But Sena instead acted like someone who didn't care about anything. Since that day Luis often visits him even though he is still around the border of romance. And Caroline was happy even though she only had a short time to meet. But they can meet at mealtime because mealtimes are always done together.

Currently, Caroline is preparing, she does not have a special job in this place because she is considered different. But Caroline doesn't care and always visits the library to fill her free time. And usually, she would go to the library to meet Luis.

The fact that the Alpha who saved her was a noble made Caroline a little happy. She didn't expect much from Alpha except for Luis. But the fact that Alpha helped her was enough to make Caroline want to say thank you.

But in fact to meet Alpha is very difficult, since that day she never saw Alpha again. Caroline walked leisurely looking around the beautiful looking dormitory. There were lots of trees and there was a small lake behind the hostel, and Caroline usually went there to cool off.

"Luis.."

Caroline smiled at Luis who was standing with a book in his hand. Luis approached looking at his cousin who looked fine "how are you?" Luis asked still worried about Caroline.

Caroline laughed but she nodded and immediately pulled Luis to sit on the empty bench. Behind the separate dormitories, there was one place they could go regardless of gender. That place is often called the border, it's where Caroline spends time with Luis.

"Where are we going today?" Luis asked looking at Caroline who was deep in thought.

"Don't you have any plans today?" instead of answering Caroline instead asked about Luis's busy schedule.

Apart from being an Alpha, Luis is also included in the ranks of Alpha geniuses "no, today I'm off" Luis's answer made Caroline smile widely.

"Okay, how about you help me"

Luis looks confused but somehow bad thoughts come back but Luis shakes his head hard about it. Caroline approached whispering something in Luis's ear. Luis looks surprised with a perfectly rounded gaze. How could Caroline want to run away from this place?

He does not believe in Caroline's thoughts but Luis is sure that Caroline always has reasons for her wishes. But this is very unreasonable and very risky to do. What if they are caught and then prosecuted, this is a very bad idea.

"I just want to do one thing before letting go of Edgar's name," Caroline said quietly.

Luis was surprised to pull Caroline's hand for him to hold "what are you thinking?"

"I want to meet my mother for the last time" Caroline replied making Luis understand what Caroline was thinking.

Yesterday Luis told him everything about his mother who loved Caroline very much and the facts about Caroline's half-brother. And all night Caroline kept thinking about all that, she felt bad knowing that her mother never intended to throw her away. She may not be a good child but Caroline wanted to do something as a child.

"Help me out" Caroline was still hopeful but she wasn't sure Luis would do that for her.

"I will help but I'm coming with you, if you intend to go alone then I refuse"

After thinking about it all Luis felt that this wasn't such a bad decision. Maybe in the end they will get punished but Luis doesn't care as long as Caroline is happy. Maybe this was too stupid but Luis wanted Caroline to keep a big smile on him.

"Listen to me, we will meet at the back lake this afternoon, I will explain the detailed plan at that time," said Caroline with a happy feeling.

Luis nodded and immediately pulled Caroline around the place at the border. Lots of things to do in that place but unfortunately Caroline was never interested in anything like that. Even Luis is confused about what Caroline likes.

They kept going around until they were stopped by a Beta status man. He was the man who was assistant to the chairman and Luis was still upset about what had happened that day "why?" asked Luis with an unfriendly look.

"Calm down.. I just want to meet Caroline" said the man making Caroline confused.

"Introduce my name is Jeremy, I'm the deputy leader here" the man smiled at Caroline who was still curious about what Beta wanted.

"If you wish, may I bring your cousin with me? I have something to tell him" Jeremy looked at Luis who didn't like him but Caroline seemed to nod.

It's clear that Luis wants to ban him because his time with Caroline is disrupted but Caroline is curious about what the Beta man wants. His high rank is one thing that makes Caroline curious and Caroline immediately leaves leaving Luis who can only surrender.

The two of them walked hand in hand letting the crowd overwhelm them until they stopped at a place that Caroline knew was a special place for high rankings.

"Come in.."

Caroline came in and immediately sat down on a bench there. While Jeremy was busy preparing tea to accompany their conversation "do you like black tea" Jeremy asked making Caroline nod.

The tea was served well and Jeremy started to sit looking at Caroline in front of him "how have you been since that day? A chairman is a stiff person but he is a good Alpha"

Caroline is confused, what does Beta mean in front of her. He wanted to ask about her condition or intended to make she her like the leader. It was clear Caroline would never be able to like that Alpha, she really was like her father and she hated him so much.

"I'm a lot better, but I don't see the good in Alpha's eyes," Caroline said making Jeremy nod.

There was curiosity in Jeremy's mind but his goal to meet Caroline wasn't because of that "are you a pure Werewolf?"
