Luis's Real Feelings

His steps were so slow, his head looked down sadly at the snow lying on the ground. Now and then he took a deep breath, feeling a feeling that almost drove him crazy.

How could he choose, to him they were equally precious to him. But now he had to choose, to choose between the cousin or the mate. Caroline, remembering the girl's name made Luis smile. That first meeting was so awkward and strange, that's what he remembered.
