Desire to Live

His eyes were narrowed as he felt the sun shining on his face. Every now and then he groaned until the blanket was forced to pull. The first thing he saw was his cousin showing a bright smile.

"Good morning Caroline"

Caroline sighed in annoying and closed her eyes again, ignoring Luis who was pulling Caroline suitcase out of the room. Luis who realized that Caroline was still asleep immediately approached and blew Caroline ear.

"Oh.. shit!! You're crazy!" Caroline shouted, sitting up.

"No"

That was Luis answer, but it made Caroline even more annoyed. With an innocent face Luis pulled Caroline body to the front of the bathroom door.

"Now it's time to take a shower, we're leaving now."

Caroline snorted again when she saw Luis face, which seemed unconcerned with his annoyance. But instead of going in, Caroline went to her wardrobe to get her clothes and towels.

"Wait out there!"

"Oke"

Luis came out to let Caroline prepare herself, feeling that there were no more distractions. Caroline sighed harshly and went straight to the bathroom. She didn't want to make Luis act even more insane. After she finished he looked at a mirror that showed his beautiful face.

His hand took a rubber band and tied his hair quickly "good" said Caroline with a smile.

Today she was going to leave, leaving the room she had occupied since childhood. It felt suffocating to him, but that wasn't what matters. Being dumped by his own biological father made him disappointed. But on the one hand she also knew that his father abandoned him because she was disabled.

"Why are there guests on a day like this?"

His body dropped limply looking down where a middle aged man was hugging the young man who got out of the car. Did she hear wrong, in fact the interaction of the two people below clearly showed what she had heard earlier. There was a knock on her bedroom door, Caroline realized that it was Luis.

She didn't want to be thrown away, even though in his heart she still had the thought that one day his father would pick him up. But now that hope seemed lost in an instant, tears rolled down Caroline cheeks. Is she really going to be thrown away now?

'This is crazy!'

Her hands ached into fists, with tears still remaining Caroline got up. She didn't want to be thrown away, hed better just go. Instead of being exiled and still bearing as part of the Werewolf, it is better for him to live as an ordinary human being. She opened the window of his room, down there was his father and mother with a man his age.

"You have a child huh.."

"Looks like I really have to throw away the hope of a complete family"

It hurts, luckily he locked the door to his room before taking a shower. Luis could step in and thwart his plans. Now without Luis or his family, she wants to live well. Caroline exhaled and immediately jumped towards the tree which was not far from her bedroom window.

'Sorry Luis'

He quickly jumped up and chased Caroline, he had to bring her back. No, he had to go with Caroline if he wanted to run away. From the start, he had considered Caroline as his sibling due to their being the same age. Why did he just find out the truth about Caroline half-brother now.

Why hasn't he noticed in the first place, if he had known Luis would have asked Caroline to run away in the first place. Her red bead could see Caroline up ahead, it seemed that Caroline couldn't run too long with her human body.

"Caroline stopped!"

Caroline turned to look at Luis who was getting closer, she didn't want to be caught and brought back to the house. She wanted to go far away from the family that was bad to him. But Luis was too fast that she felt Luis hand gripping his hand tightly.

Luis pulled Caroline into his arms, feeling the tears running down the shirt he was wearing. Luckily he could run fast, otherwise he would have lost Caroline. Losing the cousin he loved so much.

"Luis.."

Caroline voice was trembling but Luis just kept saying it's okay. Even though he knew that things weren't all right. But Luis wanted to be a supporter for Caroline now.

"Sorry, I should have taken you away from the start" Luis words made Caroline look up, she couldn't believe what she had just heard.

"You just found out?"

"Yes, sorry.."

Caroline felt relieved, somehow she felt better now "lets run away together" Caroline said with a sweet smile.

"Okay, lets run" Luis answer made Caroline smile even more.

Two of them walked hand in hand until they arrived at the bus stop. Maybe the end was like this, she had to leave his life as a Werewolf. Since the start she wasn't sure she could live as a Werewolf. She has never met his inner wolf, but the power she has is that of the Werewolf.

Ah.. Caroline doesn't want to think about it now, this time she will go with her cousin. Now there is no more Caroline from the Edgar family, now there is only Caroline who wants to live a simple life with her cousin.

"Stop!!"

They both turned their heads "uncle!!"
