"What danger could we face? If you want to tour Capital University then I can protect you." Kevin patted his chest and lifted his chin proudly.
Mo Ling threw a disdainful look at him and sized him up from top to bottom.
Her scrutiny is unhidden. So much so that Kevin could feel the disdain shooting right at his face.
"What do you mean by the look in your eyes?" He questioned angrly.
"What look?"
"The look you're giving that I'm unreliable."
"Are you?" Mo Ling asked with an innocent look on her face.
Kevin almost choked on his saliva. He wouldn't have gotten into a fight with her if she wasn't a girl.
His teeth are almost shattered by how much he's gritting to endure the curse words from coming out.
"Anyways I just need you to enter Capital University. After that I'll explore on my own." She said calmly while wiping her mouth with a napkin.
'I'm just an entry pass to her.'
He's so angry that he's literally shooting daggers at her.
Mo Ling once again ignored his angry stare and stood up to go to her room.
~~~
The next morning.
Mo Ling woke up and went down to go for a jog.
The moment she came to the living room, she saw Bi Yuhan dragging his luggage inside with his tired face.
They both stared at each other and were silent.
"I heard that you're going to be away for a few days. Why are you back after a single day?" Mo Ling strolled towards him and looked at his fatigued eyes.
'Isn't because someone is so popular that I can't sleep and work peacefully.'
Bi Yuhan was muttering inside himself and stared at the boy before him with strange eyes.
He wanted to envelope the kid in his embrace tightly the moment he saw him.
He fought his urges and looked away.
"Nothing. I've got important matters to handle here." He said in his slightly hoarse voice.
"Did something happen?" Mo Ling frowned. She was worried about him unknowingly.
Bi Yuhan looked at the frown and the worry in the boy's eyes. He felt happy deep down and also felt guilty at the same time.
He was happy that the kid was opening up to him albeit a little when he saw the worry in the boy's eyes.
He was guilty at the fact that he's not worthy of the kid's trust when he has impure thoughts towards him.
"No. You're going for a jog?" He asked, staring at the boy's attire.
"Mmm. Go up and rest then." She knew when to stop probing. And she's capable enough to know whether he encountered any problem.
After looking at the back of the boy who's leaving, he turned around and heard footsteps coming from the stairs.
He looked at the sleepyhead Kevin and his eyes turned dangerous.
