Beacon in Time

Wo Thoughtfully looked at the older man on the throne and said, "Not really but how do you know I don't have a home to go back to?"

Fu Shuo disappeared from the throne and reappeared in front of Wo Shie. "We'll you're here now so of course you had a home to come to, also Fu Shen made me aware that you're not fond of talking about your past. You can open up to us whenever you're ready."

Wo Shie was slightly startled seeing the man disappear and appear in front of him. He kept watching the man as to see his expression while he was talking but the old man kept his smile on his face not giving the slightest hint of any change in expression.

Wo Shie didn't respond because even the mention of his past was slightly sore.

Seeing Wo Shie's expression changing from that of curiosity to a more sullen look Fu Shuo took control of the energy in the room again and said, "Would you like to see something interesting?"

Fu Shuo had appeared on the cosmic path in the throne room directly in front of Wo Shie, after asking if he wanted to see something interesting the path glowed and the entire landscape changed to look like a point in outer space surrounded by distant stars and celestial bodies.

When Wo Shie looked at the old man he saw his left eye had also changed what was even more interesting was his left eye had to same pattern as Wo Shie's eyes of the infinite. Wo Shie turned to look at Fu Shen and was even more shocked that his Left eye also Resembled his eyes of the infinite.

'What is going on…' Wo Shie thought to himself, he had obtained his eyes as a mutation from the combination of the deaths manifestation and god's omnipotence automatically circulating through his body when he was in a state of extreme distress.

"Don't worry little Shie there is no one else in existence with these eyes, these eyes hold the secret to creating universes and the destruction of all existence. Fu Shen and my Eyes were passed down by my late master before his demise, he'd given me both but because it was unnatural for me to have them the energy consumption would have killed me if I attempted to use both eyes, so I passed one down to my nephew Fu Shen." Fu Shuo said.

Fu Shuo was truly an amiable old man with good intentions. Because of this he had made many Allie's in his lifetime and the people that were foolish enough to make an enemy of him either changed their minds or were met with fist they couldn't comprehend.

"I started the infinite eye sect after my late masters demise." As he said this he waved his hand and it seemed as if he was dragging stars to where he stood. The distant stars within the area of space the looked to be standing in came forward at unimaginable speeds while changing shape.

Once the stars came forward they showed a 6 year old Wo Shie in the forest fighting for his life against a giant snake like mythic beast. The beast had black scales and red Horns. It was approximately 2 meters long meaning it hadn't lived too long but for the 6 year old Wo Shie the beast was comparable to an insurmountable mountain.

The snake beast struck with its tail closing off Wo Shie's directions of retreat making him face the beast.

After only 2 minutes the injuries on Wo Shie's body had surmounted and he was on the ground unable to move. In that moment his eyes began to bleed as they sent 2 bright beams of black and white light and in that moment of the vision Wo Shie died.

Wo Shie was horrified seeing himself die in a battle, he started to check his body making sure he was actually alive right now in this moment. And breathed a sigh of relief it was just some vision the old man conjured up.

In this moment Fu Shen brought out the corpse of a dead snake beast that resembled the one from the vision.

"The 'Eyes of the Infinite' are capable of many many things, they have the ability to see through and manipulate time but their true power resides in their ability to possess and hone the powers of creation and destruction. Or life and death for lack of better references." Fu Shuo explained to Wo Shie.

"I won't say too much yet, knowledge is power but knowledge can also bring great calamities, the vision you saw was a beacon in time created by the 'Eyes of the Infinite' creating a new fate for you because of your will to live. This ability should be far from your current grasp of power but it worked." Fu Shuo said while paying attention to Wo Shie.

'Fate… What is that… a beacon in time, I still don't even know about cultivation what kind of powers and abilities do people even normally have am I special or something?' Wo Shie couldn't help but think.

After thinking for a few moments Wo Shie asked, "What is fate and how do I know that that wasn't just something made up to make me think I would have died without Fu Shen?"

The old man smiled and said, "As you grow in strength what you need to know will always find you, as of right now fate is beyond you." After saying this Fu Shuo made the corpse of the snake Fu Shen brought out float over to him and also disbursed the interstellar view making the surroundings return to that of the throne room. He and Fu Shen's eyes also returned to normal which made Wo Shie slightly confused.

As far as he knew his eyes always had a noticeably white iris whit black symbols surrounding them in a circular pattern. What he didn't know because he couldn't see his own eyes was that the black and white often switched and even the symbols would change and sometimes change shape making it look as if his eyes were alive.

This was due to Wo Shie not having any foothold or grasp of his eyes abilities and powers also a slight form of backlash due to him creating a new timeline and fate for himself.
