People gathered in front of Gao Mansion and complained, As they tried to enter but were soon stopped by the guards of the Mansion. They shouted, "Big brother, will you listen to us?" Our farms &.....

....I see, I see, it's my fault for not teaching him properly. Came the words of a middle-aged man with a strong built and elegant look. His face carried an embarrassing smile. As he entered, the entire place was filled with a dominant, yet generous, aura. He stood elegantly and smiled at the crowd in front.

"I understand your concerns. I will surely treat your losses. Please be calm"

— Calm?? big brother, are you serious? How can we be calm? This isn't the first time. We're already getting used to it and can't suffer many losses.

The man walked forward.

Sorry for the trouble. I know Cheng'er is a naughty kid. Please forgive him. A gentle requesting voice of the lady said.

"we will compensate for your losses," said the man... " Wen Ying, take care of this matter "

Yes, General, said the man from the right side (Secretary of Gao Lei)

"I Gao Lei assure you that this won't happen again, please be relieved! This matter will be taken care of. You may return. Thank you"

saying this, the man turned around and walked in.

The lady stood there lost in thoughts...

"Madam" called Wen Ying

"Don't worry, the young master is still a kid, so he is naughty. I'm sure he will understand one day as he carries the wise blood in him".

..." yeah I hope so".. smiled at the lady and walked past.

An hour later, Gao Feng entered the Mansion with a 12-year-old boy. His eyes were naughty and his lips had a compassionate grin. He had a straight nose and curved eyebrows; He was incredibly cute with his blushed, round cheeks, and his eyes twinkled like stars in the night sky. He had a wise and confident personality but, arrogance was not in the smallest degree nor foolishness. He struggled from the grip of his elder brother, Gao Feng. With a gentle voice, he said, "Ge, let me go. We already arrived home. Where else can I run now?"

"Be quiet, you impudent child. What audacity do you possess to play all day?"

"Quit your foolishness". Can't you merely behave well? You're already grown up, but you always make me run down the streets looking for you. Who do you think I'm? I've got enough things to do. You think I'm useless like you! Said, Gao Feng.

How rude! exclaimed Qin Yue.

Cheng'er innocently looked up at his father and murmured enough to reach his father's ears, "Yeah, almost... but fun? It wasn't finished yet"

"Cheng'er," shouted his father, "Look at you. How can you go messing around? Do you even have an idea how many people gather around the Mansion with their complaints? And I've nothing better to do except console them and fill in for their damages."

After his words left his mouth, dead silence packed the place. "Did a snake bite your tongue?" Answer me now. Said, Gao Lei.

With a mischievous smile on his lips, Cheng'er called "Father!" Don't you like serving the country and helping people?"

"Yes, that's the most I like most & I'm dedicated to it." Gao Lei uttered.

"Well! " said Cheng'er & continued "So father, aren't I giving you opportunities every day? Why do you still complain?"

As the last word left Chenger's lips.

Gao Lei's face turned red with anger at its extreme, and his nerves popped up on his forehead, As though he would blast anytime.

He bellowed, "You foolish brat, what possessed you?"

But Husband Chang'er is still a juvenile, how can you not feed him? Let the matter go, said Qin Yue with a worried expression.

"Qin Qin, you pamper this brat too much. Look, now he's so naughty & spoiled"

"Husband, please let him go this time, forget about it now," said Qin Yue with teary eyes, as though the punishment was declared for her.

"Gao Feng, take this little devil to the memorial hall. Let him reflect upon his acts, No mercy will be shown to him," Said Gao Lei.

Gao Feng dragged Cheng'er out and the little boy went along with him with a gloomy face & knelt in the hall with no complaints. He hung his head down with a sad expression on his cute face.

"Serves your rights in your such useless trash & A shame on Gao Family, Now sit here & reflect on yourself you fool," saying this Gao Feng slapped on cheng'ers head.

As Gao Feng left the hall, Cheng'er lifted his head, His eyes emitted naughtiness, and his lips curled up with a mischievous smile

What is he up to now???

After deciding on punishment to cheng'er his father went to attend the meeting with the emperor, They discussed the matters to be solved in various states and this talk went on, As the Emperor of the "Qi Empire" was an old friend of Gao Lei they even had a personal life chat for a long time.

At Gao's mansion, a young man complained to his mother, Was it necessary to take the side of that little bastard? He deserves that, of course, more than that.

"Afeng, mind your words, he is your little brother," said his mother

Qin Yue held a tray that contains food and stood in front of cheng'er,

Gao Lei called out, "QinQin, what are you doing? Wasn't I clear in my words that dinner won't be given to him"?

Qin Yue" but husband please let go of it cheng'er understood his mistake now please forgive him"

"take the food out and I don't wish to see anybody helping this brat. Now I will punish him. And everybody get out of my sight"

Soon, there was no single soul around the hall.

Gao Lei walked towards his naughty son and called out his name, but he saw his cute face was all gloomy, and he had no intention of listening to his father.

Gao Lei stood still, looking at the little devil as he was about to bend down wenying, came holding a bunch of scrolls and handed it to his master.

Gao Lei took the scrolls and instructed Wen Ying with another task at which wenying couldn't help but smile. Soon his smile faded as Gao Lei started him with those cold eyes.

Gao Lei held the scrolls and asked Chang'er to follow him to his study...

Cheng'er did as he was instructed. His face was still gloomy but his eyes had a suspicious yet naughty look, as though he knew what was going to happen next.
