Surrounded

In the Moonhowl's clan, something similar was currently occurring. One of Daello's offspring, Jackson was currently listening to the spy. Upon hearing the news, the entire hall shook. The servants in the hall spat blood while some fainted.

Jackson was furious hearing that the twins had appeared close by, he did not put his grandfather, Daello's warnings in his heart. He felt the little twins did not pose a threat even if they had reinforcements, as their clan had been the top clan for several decades.

"Put together the pack. We are going hunting." Jackson said energetically.

The members of the clan all showed their fangs, as they had not done anything fun in a while. Even though they felt they were just going for small fry at least they could stretch their limbs after what seemed like a long time.

Meanwhile, the party of Licht was still in the inn, resting, as they did not feel the urge to be in a hurry. Licht could feel a strong phenomena in the direction of the main city and it was slowly coming his way so he was not going to stress himself if such an object was coming at him. He was just going to patiently wait for whatever or whoever was causing the strange phenomena to reach his doorstep and investigate, maybe even seize the object if it is worth it.

Luna, Solana, Sloane and Regallas were all trying to consolidate their cultivation while Fenrir was feasting on what was most likely beast's flesh.

"You guys should get ready. We'd be having company soon." Licht said as he slowly raised himself from his bed.

They all opened their eyes while Fenrir stopped gnawing on the flesh. The aura in the room changed, it felt thicker. This was even without Sloane using her gravity ether energy. Licht had a slight smile on his face, he felt proud of these children as he felt they had come a long way.

They all started to prepare, not knowing they had caused a phenomenon. After what seemed like an hour, Licht looked in the distance and said

"They are here"

From the northside of the inn, several dozens of Sunmane clansmen clad in armor and wielding different weapons slowly marched while at the southside, several moonhowl clansmen also wielding weapons and armors walked with ferocious expressions.

They finally arrived in front of the inn. The two opposing clans noticed each other and since they expected themselves, they just ignored each other.

"Heathen twins. Come out so your corpses will be intact." A Sunmane youth yelled at the inn.

People that gathered around already had an inkling of what occurred as the matter that happened a decade ago was known by everyone. Some of them had expectant looks while others had looks of pity. They had heard of the twins and their story years ago and felt it was a pity for children so young to be unable to control their own fates.

As everyone was waiting, they saw the door of the inn open and then two young girls that looked identical walked out. One had a fiery expression while the other had a cold look on her face. The Sunmane and Moonhowl clan members were about to speak when they saw more people heading out the inn.

A blond-haired elf, a little orc girl with an adorable wolf pup on her head and a really handsome young man with silver hair all came out the inn together.

"It looks like the little whores got backers" One foul-mouthed Moonhowl clansman said.

The other people of the Moonhowl clan all laughed and howled while the people of the Sunmane clan frowned at the vulgarity of the canine clan. They also jeered at the twins and the others.

Regallas frowned and was about to make a move but he saw Licht move forward so he calmly held back. Licht walked forward as the two opposing clans were making fun of the half-kin twins.

With his signature smile that now looked a little cold, he said "I do not care if one of your clans ancestor is currently the emperor here. All I want is for you to relinquish the people that caused these two girls heartache and your clans will be spared but if you delay any longer, you are bringing downfall upon your clans"

The clansmen and women(obviously) stopped laughing and looked at Licht like he was a lunatic. Licht had the cold look on his face as he watched them and their jeering expressions. He turned around and walked back to the twins.

As he walked back, a brave sunmane clansman moved to attack him, but before he could even touch the hem of Licht's clothes, a beam of light fell on him and he immediately disintegrated into dust.

The surrounding clansmen watching were all stunned. They all had frozen expressions on their faces as they expected the guy to have at launched a sneak attack on Licht. There was a long silence till Licht spoke

"He was less than the dirt beneath my shoes. Why would I have let him touch me?" Licht spoke as he reached the twins.

"You guys are allowed to rage out. No one would harm you as long as I am here" He patted the twins on their heads as they looked at Licht and nodded.

They both started walking in different directions. Luna walked in the direction of the Sunmane clan while Solana strolled in the direction of the Moonhowl clan.

They were stunned after seeing what Licht did but when they saw the twins walking in their direction, they regained a bit of their confidence. Luna was in front of the Sunmanes as she slowly transformed into her battle-form. She stood in front of the Sunmanes as a 2 meter tall werewolf with orange glowing eyes while Solana was already in front of the Moonhowls as she finished her transformation into her werelion form. Both clansmen were livid when they saw their full combat transformation as they felt the girls were taunting them.

It was a magnificent sight as several people that looked human all began to either transform into werewolves or werelions. It was now several hundreds of werelions and werewolves against the twins. There were some that were already over 2.5 meters but their fur looked duller than the brightly shining coats of the twins.

Even at such a sight, the twins did not retreat in fact from the way the glow emitting from their fur was pulsating, the people watching could tell they were excited and craving this battle.
