Lair in the outskirts

"Rise and shine," Xavier whispered. Dark circles were under his eyes, but he managed to keep himself awake until the first light appeared on the horizon.

Zera had been awake even before he tried to wake her up.

Their two companions were also already on their feet. Breakfast was distributed, and the players set off to follow the path they were going to yesterday.

Zera was in the lead, and Xavier stayed behind.

In between were Trink and Xenon. They walked along, and neither of them was talking.

Looking ahead, before the sun could rise and burn their skin, Zera hurried her pace. She wanted to get to the bottom of the zombie. At least she would feel accomplished.

What happens after that would be a great question mark. 

There was no plan for what awaited them at the end of that road. The buildings that loomed around them were checked one by one.
