Waree looked him in the eye for a second and drooped.
“And that Lucius guy, too.” She said. “I don’t know if Na will be able to take him down. You know how good he is from Mr. Sander.”
Shin did not reply. He glanced the other way and thought about it. Sander had said that Lucius was equal to Baron, or maybe better. And that was old information before he became the Core of Pride.
That man had been in this endless imagination for centuries. He was also worried that Lucius would have improved so much over the years.

Waree said so softly it was more like a whisper.
