Sam...
Sam...
Sam...
Bara scowled in annoyance to find so many messages from Sam on Jasmine's cell phone. The clumsy girl always leaves her cell phone everywhere. Bad habits.
Bara returned Jasmine's phone to its place. He knew Jasmine liked Sam, but who would have thought that Sam had the same feelings?
Sam isn't the type to text girls first, but why is he texting Jasmine so often, now? Could Bara's hunch be true?
Hey!
Bara cursed annoyed.
"Ra," Jasmine approached Bara in the living room with a cup of coffee in her hand.
The girl put the cup of coffee on the table near Bara.
"I made you a coffee!" said the girl quietly.
"Okay."
"If you need something, you can ask me," said Jasmine again before turning to leave. But as quickly as possible Bara grabbed the girl's wrist so she sat on the sofa next to Bara.
They leaned back on the sofa and stared at each other in silence.
"What is it?" Jasmine looked at Bara confused.
"You like him, don't you? Sam? Do you like him?" Bara knew he shouldn't have asked it like that, but really, imagining Jasmine with Sam made him feel uneasy.
"I told you didn't I? For some reason, I don't want to like any of you, including Sam," Jasmine answered slowly.
She was fully aware of her feelings. She liked Sam. But she had decided to bury her feelings deep. Who is she?
Bara scowled and shifted his seat so that he was facing Jasmine straight. After all, Bara was one of those who did not want Jasmine to like Sam. It bothered him a lot.
"You two text often?" Bara insisted.
"Hmm, not that often, only occasionally when Sam isn't busy. He just asks me what I'm doing, and a few other unimportant questions. Oh hey, you unlocked my phone?" Jasmine exclaimed surprised.
"Yeah, I just wanted to see if you have a good photo, and I accidentally saw a message from Sam." Bara lie.
Jasmine narrowed her eyes at Bara suspiciously. Bara's reasoning sounded absurd.
"And, who knows you might save blue videos on your phone. I'm just curious," said Bara again.
Jasmine stared in disbelief. How could Bara think like that?
"You pervert! I wouldn't keep something like that! That's ridiculous!" shrieked Jasmine did not accept.
"Why? You have to watch it once in a while. At least you should save one or two, who knows you might need a style reference for our first night!" tease Bara.
Pluck!
"ARGH!" shouted Bara.
Reflex Bara immediately rubbed his lips roughly which had just been flicked by Jasmine. Jasmine looked at the man fiercely. Not satisfied with that, she turned to Bara's stomach and gave a few small pinches there.
Romantic? Of course not, it was a very painful little pinch, for whatever reason, if Bara's stomach didn't hurt, it was a miracle.
"You know, Ra? I often forget that you are a pervert!" said Jasmine annoyed.
"Hey, I'm not a pervert with just any girl! It's fine isn't it, if I'm just a pervert with you!"
Jasmine shook her head quickly. She flicked Bara's mouth again until the man groaned in pain.
"Wrong! You pervert!"
Bara just showed a wide grin and pinched Jasmine's nose in exasperation.
Sometimes, Jasmine's sweet attitude makes Bara feel unwilling to share Jasmine with others.
His feelings often became chaotic when he remembered how Sam looked tenderly at Jasmine. It bothered him a lot.
Bara cursed in his heart, just remembering it made his heartthrob in pain.
"Ra, why are you daydreaming?" Jasmine gently patted Bara's arm.
"Hmm?"
"What are you thinking about?"
"You!"
"Why?"
"Jasmine, seriously, can't you just like me? Don't be with Sam, let alone Joe! Listen, I'll make you happy! I'll give you whatever you want!"
Jasmine giggled amused seeing Bara's serious expression, she pinched Bara's stomach again with annoyance. Luckily the pinch this time wasn't too hard.
"You all treat me well, but the best is, of course, Sam. He's very caring and mature, even though he looks cold, his heart is so warm! I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to fall in love with him!"
Bara was silent and looked straight at Jasmine. He regretted asking.
He took a deep breath and looked at Jasmine sadly. Then what now? He had heard the answer. SO WHAT?
***
Jasmine smiled as she looked at Bara's face who was sleeping on the sofa. They chatted until late. Jasmine was still watching her favorite drama on tv when Bara lay down on the sofa. Maybe he was tired from constantly arguing with her.
For a moment, Jasmine felt eager to accept Bara's offer. End all this and only be with one man in her life. But of course, Jasmine couldn't, because he was Bara, the son of Mr. Bagaskara.
Jasmine's smile faded and was replaced with a straight face.
She was determined after she finished her contract with Mr. Bagaskara, she would go as far away from this country as possible. Maybe to a neighboring country or whatever. As long as she can stay away from Sam, Bara, and Joe.
She wants to live a new life. There are only smiles and laughter with her Grandpa and Grandma.
Because of that, she didn't want to be involved in a romantic relationship with any of Mr. Bagaskara's sons, including Bara. Even though deep in her heart, there was someone who had stopped there.
Unknowingly, someone was watching the two people in the room with a sharp gaze.
Joe stood in the doorway, he watched carefully.
Guilt still bothered him. He didn't mean to hurt Jasmine with his words. She knew he was quite rude the other day.
He just feels annoyed, why does Jasmine have to embarrass herself in front of other people?
She was precious enough to the three brothers, she could escape maid status just by asking him, why is she still holding on?
Joe shook his head slowly, he didn't understand Jasmine's way of thinking.
"Joe? How long have you been standing there?" Jasmine exclaimed, apparently aware of the presence of Joe.
Joe's gaze was so flat and cold.
"Not too long," said Joe casually.
He looked at the look on Jasmine's face. There was not the slightest hint of anger or resentment in the girl's gaze.
Joe has been rude, can't the girl just curse him? That way Joe doesn't have to have such deep regrets like this.
"What's wrong with you?" Jasmine asked confused.
"Hungry!" said Joe.
Joe left the living room and headed for the kitchen.
