*Matthew's POV*
The elevator seemed extra slow today as I waited for it to reach my office.
It was the first official day of the trial and I was on my way to fucking work. It was making me anxious. I didn't like leaving Trinity alone, especially with the shit Christiana had pulled last time.
But owning a business was a full time job, and I needed to make sure that there was still something to come back to after this trial ended. It had never necessarily been about the money for me, but now that I had a family, it wasn't something that I was willing to lose.
Trinity didn't know it, but I had already set up accounts for both of them. I knew that Trinity didn't care about my money, which was something I loved about her, but that didn't mean that I didn't want to spoil her.
And now that she agreed to marry me, I would never have to stop spoiling her. However, I still was needing to look into that prenup idea that my lawyer was worried about.
