Chapter 43 : Come Back, Be Here
*Trinity's POV*
I stood nervously at my desk, watching Matthew's office door. It was still closed. I wasn't sure if I should keep waiting or not.
When Matthew was in the hospital with me, he had said that he wanted to take me to my next ultrasound appointment, and despite our argument and current situation, I wanted him to come. Especially after having lunch with Amber today. I was feeling guilty and wouldn't mind making up.
Plus, he was technically the father, I kept reminding myself. He had a right to come to the ultrasound appointment if he wanted to. I just wasn't sure if he still wanted to.
I pulled out my phone and looked at the time. I had to get going soon. His door still remained closed. Maybe I should just call someone else to come and get me.
Maybe he didn't want to see me. Or maybe he didn't want to see the baby.
I looked up at his door again. No change.
