Did she find out about that night? Or does she suspect me?

I don't know why my mother thinks that my future pups will look like Melody's. I mean, what are the odds?

I haven't gotten to see those kids up close. I do not even know how they look. I have only seen them from afar. I do not even know their names.

Could it be that they look like me?

I didn't know what to think anymore. After mother's words earlier, every iota of doubt in me vanished.

I knew that my mother could never be wrong, but what bothers me was that if mother could see the similarities between me and the pups, then it's only a matter of time before everyone else does.

What do I do, then?
