Power Chain

'Suffer in silence' This is what Anza had heard throughout his childhood of grief and feelings of utter weakness. The only things he knew of were hardship and an insatiable thirst for strength. Whilst in the super continent of Valior, the sight of blood, tragedy and betrayal devoured the powerless. The strong rule over the weak is one rule that reverberated throughout all the lands and kingdoms. And this rule did not treat Anza kindly. His intention was to turn the tables. "I just wanna sit in a room...knowing full well that I could...singlehandedly take every soul in it." He said as blood streamed past his glowing violet eyes.

Bloody Reminder

A peaceful breeze tenderly stroked my face, whilst the plains of luscious and leafy grass swayed to the side. Only the chirping of crickets and the buzzing of bees could be heard amongst the silence of tranquillity. As the glowing sun gradually descended into the surface, it emitted golden streaks of light that pierced the clouds and turned them into an orange and reddish hue.

Nature truly is beautiful. Right?

I got up from the grass I was sitting on and gazed over at the pond in front of me; all that gazed back was a boy, who looked to be aged 6, with black hair and very dark brown(basically black)eyes. His skin tone could be described as rose beige or just plain beige.

"The view is breathtaking...am I right?" Asked the entity.

The ghastly looking thing had gleaming white hair and at the same time two horns. Both of them were pitch black.

"Yeah." I responded with the slightest smurk on my face.

"Just gives you a break from all the dull grey aswell." The thing continued.

"Yeah its like my eyes are getting painted with the colours I see instead of the-"

My words derailed due to what I was witnessing, because before I knew it all I was speaking to was a tower of bloody corpses. The soulless bodies were clearly intentionally piled up like this- completely belittling their life. The scenery around me started to transform:blazing buildings appeared out of thin air whilst screams of agony, despair and anguish could be heard in every direction. The grass had been replaced by a river of scarlet and crimson blood gradually oozing out of the gory corpses. Moreover, it was no longer daytime but instead a frigid night.

The sound of rustling grass could be heard from behind me, and I swiftly turned my head to find out where it came from. The silhouette of a man was scarcely noticeable. However, what stood out was his petrifying and gleaming white eyes. The man abruptly raised his arm and extended his index finger, pointing right in the centre of my vision. Roughly a centimetre away from the tip of his finger, an illuminating and dazzling yellow light started to form. I looked up towards the sky where all I saw was an army of soldiers, armed with weapons of death. The sky was lit up with a crimson aura whilst gargantuan orbs of energy soured down upon us. A solitary tear ran down my cheek from my crazed and bloodshot eyes.

I came to the realisation that...

I was nothing more than a fragile snowflake.

Laying in a polar desert of insignificance surrounded by other meaningless specks: nothing more.

The mesmerizing light shimmered in front of me before a bright yellow flash enveloped my vision. However, this only lasted for a split second.

I rapidly opened my eyes. My heart pounded out of my chest at mind-boggling speeds and I was gasping for air.

"Tch. What a shitty dream."
