Chapter-57: Finally the fated day has come!

(3rd POV)

(5 years later)

On a full moon night, two celestials descended on the earth.

These were Otsutsuki Kaguya and Otsutsuki Isshiki.

They were given the instructions to harvest earth's chakra fruit and the time for it to bloom as was around 11 years.

Otsutsuki Kaguya was to be sacrificed while Isshiki was supposed to eat the fruit in order but Kaguya betrayed Isshiki to take the fruit for herself and put up a fight against Otsutsuki clan.

The methods of Otsutsuki clan were extremely cruel and she longed for peace, more than anyone.

Day after day, seeing Otsutsuki after Otsutsuki being consumed to no end, she was...scarred.

When she was assigned the mission to harvest the fruit, only two things came to her mind.

Either peacefully pass away, not taking revenge for her fellow brethren being consumed to no end or put up on final fight to end the clan.

It was a hard choice for her.

It will consume her everything, if she chooses any of the options.

So she chose to fight back.

After all, you miss all the shots you don't take.

She ambushed Isshiki, catching him off guard tore his body apart into two pieces after a lot of trouble as she dragged it over to the Shinju tree and sacrificed it.

As she dragged his lower half of the body to the Shinju tree, Isshiki's upper half, that still possessed consciousness immediately ran away as he shrunk himself with his dojutsu and searched for a body to inhabit.

He, incidentally, found a monk by the name of Jigen around who was scouting the surrounding because of the mayhem that was caused.

He instantly went inside his ear and inhabited his brain as he walked away.

The betrayal had weakened him a lot and he needed a new vessel, otherwise, he won't be able to report to the clan back, let alone deal with Kaguya.

The surrounding changed once again, just so that fruit can finally mature, it utterly destroyed the surrounding as it consumed natural chakra at a faster pace.

The fruit's quality would definitely be affected but she could always harvest more fruits from other planets.

After they both left the scene, a shadowy figure with snow white skin and a orange fox tail with red strips came where the fight was held and he took a lot of blood samples as well as some flesh chunks that were spread around the surrounding after Isshiki was torn apart.

After collecting whatever he could, he instantly disappeared...

No one saw this at all.

(Kazuya POV)

After I teleported back to my lab using flying thunder god, I was hyperventilating from excitement.

I finally got the Otsutsuki blood!

It needed 10 billion points to afford a small vial and I got 6 vials with some flesh chunks!

It was akin to hitting a jackpot.

I immediately cleaned up the specimen with some tools and manually made sure no impurities like dirt are gone.

After 6 hours of intense work, the specimen were finally clean.

Not even a single impurity was there. Rinnegan was quite handy for this.

It was now ready to proceed on the next stage.

I put the specimen on a petri dish as I injected some solutions to nurture the cells and used Yang chakra to speed up the process.

In 5 minutes, cells started to absurdly grow as I stopped supplying it chakra.

I took those cells out of the petri dish extremely careful, not even breathing so that the result might go bad.

I put the cells inside the incubator as I pushed 4 pins inside my body and started to supply the chakra needed for the progress.

In 30 minutes, a small body started form and in another 30 minutes, a small boy with sharp features was now developing.

It took me around 12 hours of careful chakra therapy so that I could fully form the body and I had to refill my chakra after that, just to make it grow again.

The cells were acting extremely weirdly.

The Otsutsuki clone easily grew up in initial stage but it was taking more and more chakra out of me, just so that it can show minimal process.

It wasn't a failure, however.

After providing it chakra for 30 days straight, the body finally grew to an adolescent age.

I tried entering the body using Fushi tensei but the result wasn't looking too impressive.

The chakra reserves were decent for an Otsutsuki but the muscle mass was pitifully low. The body felt surreal but the only real difference I could feel was my chakra capabilities were extremely enhanced.

Nothing more happened.

I grew 6 more clones from all the specimen I got but the result was variable mostly.

Some of them had bad chakra aptitude and some had bad muscle mass. Their eyes were either some unique dojutsu or straight up Byakugan.

No Sharingan or Rinnegan.

Perhaps its a result of chakra fruit?

Only their eyes were somewhat valuable as Byakugan's purity was extremely high, even being able to discern someone's true identity as well as intentions with a single glance.

Other Dojutsu were not as good as their perception was terrible and they couldn't make any real difference in any situation or strength. Perhaps they need a chakra fruit as well so that they can truly awaken?

Or are they useless low quality stuff?

I don't exactly know everything about Otsutsuki clan, so I guess I will keep them.

Everything else was mediocre at best and even that was pushing it. I could just implant their eyes in my eye socket and be done with it.

I was really depressed and losing hope in myself as well as the clones. They were a big disappointment for me. I wasn't someone who'd settle for anything less than best.

It was the last specimen's turn now. It was the piece of flesh that I was able to salvage.

I once again started the same procedure as I started cultivating the clone again.

I gave it my best this time, pouring all the chakra from my own body to the incubator.

At first, a really small body was formed, even smaller than every other clone, which made me falter a bit but I wasn't ready to give up now.

I pumped my chakra into it as I started eating a lot of calorie filled food and made yang chakra constantly, not letting the supply run dry, even for a second.

My body was literally being used as a chakra battery for the clone to grow.

After 12 hours, the body began to grow in size and it was already much larger than other clones.

The physical parts were looking quite satisfactory.

After 30 days of hard work, in which I sat on my butt as I ate tons of food while converting all of it to Yang chakra, the clone was finally complete.

It was much larger that a regular Otsutsuki clone, nearing 6'10" in height, completely over towering others.

The Byakugan's purity was on another level as well. On par with the best clones in the entire batch.

It had four eye sockets, all filled with Byakugan. Two on the head and one on each hand.

Other clones only possessed 3 at most. One of them only had one eye socket as well.

I quickly transplanted the best Byakugan of the other clones as I transplanted Rinnegan from my own eyes, into it's hand and finally confirmed my entry in it's body.

Using Fushi tensei, I entered the body and it was much better than all the clones combined.

The chakra capabilities were extremely amazing, even exceeding the best clone and the physical aspects were even better than all others combined.

Suddenly, the world around me felt as if I went in overdrive as I started to feel burdened for one second and feel as a bird on the other second.

It felt as if something inside me was rapidly expanding and contracting.

Suddenly, darkness surrounded me as I started feeling dizzy and fell on the floor.

What....is...going...on?
