Castaway Island!

The trouble had been handled easily, so Roy didn't even have to leave his room. Afterward, he just went back to his room to revive Tentacool.

Tentacool would be good at hunting in the water for him. It wasn't something he was going to add to his team, but it could be used for other things.

"That brat's pretty arrogant, how dare he speak the Purple Fang Gang members like that?"

"Let him have his little moment, for now, once we capture him—we'll teach him a lesson. We'll beat him before handing him over to Team Rocket!"

This man seemed to be the leader, he had a face mask over his mouth. This hid most of his face, so no one would be able to identify him.

"I would have taught him a lesson if that captain didn't stop me, but there will be a chance on the Island." The man who sought trouble with Roy was also a member of the Purple Fang Gang, he smiled coldly.

Meanwhile, Roy felt that the ship was once again in motion. It wouldn't be long before they reached Castaway Island.

Before he could check his new Tentacool out, he received a notification on his Pokedex.

"What could it be at this time, is it Diana or Troy?" Roy pulled up his Pokedex and found that it had something to do with a shipping product.

"Oh, it's about my Upgrade for Porygon." The item was being prepared for him, so it hadn't been shipped out yet. The destination showed that it would arrive in Goldenrod City in a month.

"Perfect, this will allow me to keep track of this item." Roy also saw that he could order items from the Alliance through his Pokedex.

Roy wanted to evolve Porygon into Porygon 2 as soon as possible. This would upgrade its strength greatly for the battles ahead.

Roy checked his Pokedex and found that Tentacool, Larvitar, and Porgon had been added to it automatically.

Once again, Roy summoned everyone he had out of their Poke balls before. Roy went to the bathroom and filled the tub with water. Afterward, Roy summoned Tentacool, who still looked like it had taken a severe beating.

Roy inspected it again.

Roy could only keep the Tentacool in the bathtub until it recuperated. He only had three revives, but these were situational.

Roy noticed that revives were very similar to smelling salt. These crystalline-like octahedrons were cable of stimulating any pokemon that took a sniff of it. The pokemon would wake up swiftly, with its body filled with adrenaline.

This was Roy's analysis when he first studied them. However, this was for when he opened it, so it must remain closed until he was ready to use it.

"I'll wait for you to wake up on your own, it shouldn't take long." It usually took a pokemon who had fainted about 15-30 minutes to wake up from this state.

Roy didn't want to waste a revive, they cost ₽1,500 each, so they weren't exactly cheap. He left Tentacool in the bathtub before exiting the small bathroom.

"They're supposed to give a map of the Island, which will make it easier to get around." Roy wondered about exploring a bit deeper since he had stronger helpers.

"I'll hang around the Outer Zone for a bit and maybe explore the Middle Zone afterward." Roy wasn't so informative about the Island, but he knew there were peak Tier Two pokemon deeper into the Island.

He had to abide with caution.

Roy laid on the bed and rested his eyes. Both Porygon and Larvitar knew to keep quiet, so they relaxed themselves and didn't continue messing around.

Time passed quickly and Roy found the ship's speed had started to decrease.

At that moment, Roy heard violent movements coming from the bathroom. It could be no one else but Tentacool, who had finally awakened.

"Ninetales, follow me, just in case of an incident." Roy didn't want to take any chances, just in case—Tentacool didn't remain disciplined.

Ninetales stood up and leaped off the bed to follow Roy to the bathroom. Porygon and Larvitar looked over, they seemed curious and wanted to check it out as well.

"You two, stay here." Roy turned to them, he could easily tell what they were thinking.

Both of them didn't move and stayed in place obediently. They seemed a little grouchy and eager to see what was in that bathroom.

Roy entered the bathroom and saw that Tentacool had indeed awakened. Tentacool turned and looked at Roy, it was standing up on its tentacles for a brief moment.

Roy was stunned, its relaxed human-like eyes were quite soothing to stare at. Tentacool seemed confused, it only remembered attacking Chinchou and being instantly defeated.

"You were defeated and captured by me. From today onward, you will be working with me to capture other pokemon." Roy explained with a grin.

Tenta~

Tentacool nodded, it had easily submitted due to how quickly it was dispatched in combat. Besides, it was within its nature to fold under stronger individuals, such as Tentacruel. Roy gazed upon Tentacool and could tell that it was still weak from its previous confrontation.

"Alright, sit still." Roy pulled out a Super potion with a bit of reluctance and sprayed Tentacool. He poured the rest of it into the bathtub water to help heal it.

This wasn't like the games, it wouldn't instantly heal the pokemon. The effect would take 5 minutes to completely heal the pokemon in question.

A Super Potion would be more than enough to fully heal Tentacool at this level.

Announcement: We'll be arriving at Castaway Island in 5 minutes. Please be prepared to disembark at that time.

Roy heard the captain's voice over the coms, it wasn't too loud or too low. It was just the right volume to not annoy anyone who may have fallen asleep.

Roy saw that Tentacool was laying down in the tub, as it comfortably took in the Super potion's medicinal properties.

Roy thought to himself, Tentacool wasn't a bad pokemon. However, it would only be good in the water, so there was no way he could add it to his team. Besides, he already agreed to train Johto pokemon, even if they could evolve into a further form that many have only appeared in Sinnoh.

An example would be Yanma, who is clearly a Johtonian pokemon. However, it was okay to have this pokemon and evolve it into a Yanmega.

So it was usable under Roy's standards and rules he set for himself.

Technically, Tentacool was only good for helping him capture other aquatic pokemon. Roy planned to form a pokemon squad for hunting in the water, forest, skies, cave systems, underground, etc.

Tentacool was only the first of many.

Five minutes was nothing and Tentacool was fully healed and ready to go. Roy simply recalled Tentacool and emptied the bath water. He recalled everyone else and left his room to leave the ship.

Once Roy arrived at the disembarking area, he saw that there were fewer people. Many of them had left the ship immediately, while some were still here trying to form groups. Before everyone got off the boat, a man was handing out a map of the Island.

Roy was given a map once he walked over toward the ramp and off the ship. The map was folded into three sections, neatly.

Roy checked and saw mountains, rivers, mini volcanoes, and small cave areas on the map. Each place was marked in detail to let anyone know which area they were in. From the Outer Zone to the name of the area within that Zone.

Gazing at the Island, Roy found that it was extremely beautiful. The site looked similar to Jurassic Park's Island from afar. Roy smiled and quickly got off the boat—where he was now standing on a sandy beach.

Roy immediately spotted several pokemon in the forest, on the treetops of the forest, and on the sandy beach sunbathing.

Roy saw Slowpoke, Psyduck, and Krabby walking around on the beach nonchalantly. This was especially so for the groups of Psyduck—who didn't seem to have a care in world. Most of these Psyduck were holding their heads at all times.

"Look, there are already pokemon on the beach!" There were a few people who just got off the boat. Their eyes brightened when they saw the groups of pokemon, there weren't many Krabby but an abundance of Psyduck.

As for Slowpoke, there was only one.

"Let's see if we can capture some!" This group of young trainers ran over and quickly engaged these pokemon.

Roy didn't want to reveal too much, so he thought he could catch these types of pokemon later. He quickly disappeared into the forest silently.

Roy traveled deeper into the forest. The forest wasn't thick as the sunshine was easily cascading throughout the place.

The forest floors were filled with vegetation, there were even berries that could be seen on some bushes. Roy heard the sound of chirping all around, it really seemed like any other day in the wild.

Roy suddenly heard some movements up ahead.

He rushed to take cover behind a tree, the movement came from the bushes up ahead. He squinted to see who or what would appear from them.

'What could it be?' Roy was ready to engage in a fight if it was suitable. Right then, what appeared to be a green worm of some sort came out of the bushes.

It was a Caterpie.

Roy's eyebrows twitched with a tinge of disappointment. Nevertheless, it was something that he had to catch. Roy, of course, inspected the little guy—who appeared lost and confused.

Caterpie squirmed forward and appeared to have no worries or a care in the world. Just as Roy was about to engage Caterpie, a looming shadow appeared.

"Pee... Cat..."

Caterpie suddenly squirmed with all of its little might before being strung by an invisible force. Roy's eyes widened in surprise, his thought of starting a fight had vanished instantly.

Roy looked upward and was stunned, it was actually a pokemon manipulating the situation. A tinge of fear appeared in Roy's eyes, but when he saw what pokemon it was—his heart rate sped up.

It was the arachnid spider pokemon, Spinarak!
