This is Red, a boy with an outfit that matches his name.

He is considered a genius trainer of the same era as Blue and Leaf.

And now, he's using Charmander, a Fire-type Pokémon, to battle Staryu, a Water-type Pokémon.

Well, normally if someone sees this, they'd be confused or even laugh at it.

Staryu spun rapidly and charged straight at Charmander.

Charmander couldn't dodge in time and took a considerable hit.

"Now! Water Gun!"

Since Staryu was close to Charmander, it was certain that Charmander would get hit!

Suddenly, Charmander opened its mouth, releasing thick black smoke towards Staryu, blinding it and causing the Water Gun to miss.

"Smokescreen..."

Misty felt that this battle was tougher than it appeared.

In front of her was a Fire-type Pokémon, one that should easily be countered by Water-types, yet it still hadn't been defeated.

And since Red never spoke, she had no idea what he would command next! (This guy is broken af)

Charmander's claws suddenly sharpened and slashed at Staryu.

Staryu took the hit but got back up and used Rapid Spin.

Charmander jumped to dodge and then slashed again with a strong hit.

'This isn't good!' Misty broke into a sweat and gave another command.

Staryu's skin became tougher, making Charmander's Slash less effective than before.

"Minimize!" Misty commanded, knowing that Charmander had Dragon Rush, but it would drain a lot of energy, so it wouldn't be used often.

And just as expected, Red didn't order a Dragon Rush.

This time, Misty was more cautious, pulling out a Potion to heal Staryu.

"WHAT?! HOW IS SHE USING A POTION IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE?!" Rey exclaimed in confusion.

In the three turns where Charmander couldn't reach Staryu, Staryu's defense drastically increased.

Then, it confidently jumped out of the water and shot water at Charmander.

Charmander quickly dodged and blew black smoke at Staryu.

"..." Both Red and Misty remained silent, staring at each other without blinking.

"Rapid Spin!"

Dragon Rush!

Staryu spin like a drill, flying towards Charmander with perfect precision!

Charmander jumped up, preparing to strike Staryu.

As they collided, Staryu spin with all its might, while Charmander punched continuously to block Staryu.

Alright, why does this battle feel like Dragon Ball?

But unfortunately for Charmander, Dragon Rush consumed too much energy, and it couldn't hold on.

Staryu took advantage of this and pushed forward, and when Dragon Rush's effect wore off, Rapid Spin hit Charmander square in the stomach.

Both Pokémon crashed into the wall, causing everything around it to crack, and the wall collapsed.
