Mysterious Person

Laila POV: -

Waking up in in the morning to my alarm ringing, the first thing that is happening is the Sun Rays directly hitting my eyes. Covering my eyes, I slowly wake up.

"Hmmmm...."

Stretching my body while getting up from the bed, I start to get ready for the day.

After refreshing myself up, I decided to wake up my Pokémon in the backyard. As, I go to the back I see grandpa wearing a straw hat and carrying a basket in his hand.

Seeing me coming up, Grandpa starts to say.

"Oh, Little Lai, you woke up. I am just returning from the Berry farm; I have collected few ripen berries for our breakfast and few special ones for the Pokémon. So, hurry and wake all the Pokémon's up. I'll prepare the bowls for them."

"Okay Grandpa." I say smiling at grandpa.

In all these years Grandpa hasn't changed a lot, he is still kind old man he is when he first picked me up.

Thinking this, I wake all mine and Grandpa's Pokemon in the backyard. After waking them up, I groom them one by one in an hour. While still admiring my great work, I hear Grandpa calling.

"Little Lai, the food is ready bring everyone!!!!!"

"Alright Grandpa!!!!!!" I shout back replying to him.

"Alright everyone, now who's hungry?!!!" I say to the Pokémon surrounding me.

*Howwwlllllllllllllllllllllllll*

*Chirrpppp*

All kinds of Pokémon sounds come to in reply to my question.

After that we all enjoy our breakfast. I start to get ready for going to the gym and maintain it, while Grandpa is in the living room heading the newspaper.

"Grandpa!!!! I'm going to the gym." I tell grandpa before leaving.

"Alright, be safe on the way." Grandpa replies.

"Okay, bye!!"

With that I leave the house. While going to the gym I come across the towns people, and reply 'Good Morning' to them.

It is 9 O'clock, the gym opening time. So, rush fast and open the gym and get ready for any challenger. Since, no one is present , I go inside and water few of the plant pots in the gym, which give my gym the creepy look, like the Climber plant which sticks to the gym door gives it an archaic look, inside the gym at a corner of the register I keep a few Dead snapdragon flowers look like weird skulls, a few Venus trap plants , and a few Tropical Pitcher Plants that look like Victreebel. And a few other plants which gives the gym a chilling feeling and a great look.

While I am busy with watering and taking care of my plants, a person appears in front of the gym.

Mysterious Person POV: -

Looking straight at the place the towns people said the gym is, I look dumbstruck but also slightly relieved, knowing that I came to the right place.

"Still into creepy stuff I see!!!"

'Sigh'

Sighing I decided to go inside and meet her again. I look forward to seeing what her face looks like after we meet.

"Well, here goes nothing."

Saying that I push open the Ancient looking door and enter the creepy gym.

Laila POV: -

While still taking care of the plants and the oddities in the gym, I hear someone entering the gym. Thinking that a new gym challenger has come, I go forward to meet the trainer.

Reaching the front, I see the silhouette of a person in front of the register.

As if hearing my footsteps, the person turns around to me and talks.

"So, you are the Gym leader of this town, the famous ' Queen Of Abyss ' . The gym where both the Pokémon and trainer engulfed into darkness and let the dreams of many young trainers sink into Abyss of defeat. I must say Ms. Laila you are not what the gym challengers say what you are."

The person immediately describes the embarrassing title the trainers, and the League gave me.

"Please, don't say that aloud. I already told them I am not like that, I even gave the challengers advice, and told them many things that could help them in training their Pokémon. And they still gave me that embarrassing title."

I tell this person while sighing the nth time listening to the description and the title my challengers and the league decided.

"Hahahahahahah." The person starts to laugh mildly.

"Wait, why does your voice sound so familiar. And also, can you show me your face, you look similar to a friend of mine."

I am suddenly curious to the person before me, his size and frame looks similar to a person I know. This person covered his face with a cap, and a Charizard face mask.

"If you insist my Queen.!!!!!!"

He exaggeratedly bowed to me and started to take off his disguise.

"Please stop!!! Don't say that." I speak to him loudly, hiding my red face due to embarrassment.

"Ha-ha..". Laughing slightly again, he removes his covering from his face.

"Yo!!! Long time no see Laila!!!" He greets me with a smile and suddenly hugs me.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!!!!!!!!"

Still surprised seeing him, I still did not register the hug he gave me in my mind.

Realizing that he is still hugging me, I get flustered and push him back.

"Vik!!!!!!!!!! Re-Release m-me." and pushed him back.

"Come on Laila, after a long time we see each other, and you can't give me time to enjoy our hug." Vik says to me while faking a sad face.

"Don't cheat me, I know you very well. So, that will not work on me. Why are you here." I talk to him with mock anger.

"Oh!!! I heard your dream came true and opened a gym, so I rushed to you as soon as I finished my work, to congratulate you." Vik starts telling me this.

"Really!!! You came all the way to congratulate me." I can tell he came here sincerely to congratulate me, so I am really grateful and happy. So, I ask him while smiling happily.

"Of course, why would I come to you otherwise." Vik smiles at me while taking something from his back.

"Oh, and here is your gift for fulfilling your dream" Saying that he takes out myriad of stuff from his backpack.

"Wowwwwww!!!!!" I am amazed by all the stuff he taken out of his backpack.
