EPISODE 6: Adventure through Wonderland

"Kalem... Kalem..." the voice kept on calling my name,

"This is not ordinary, something strange must be happening!" I said to myself. I was the only one awake at that time, Riolu was already asleep, and I do not want to interrupt his sweet dreams.

"Kalem..." the voice called once more.

"Hello, is anyone there?" I spoke towards the voice.

"Kalem..." the voice continues to call my name.

"Is someone there? Show yourself!" I spoke once more towards the voice.

"Kalem..." the voice said again and again persistently.

"This is not funny, show yourself whoever you are!" I shouted to the voice.

I think I was being too harsh to the voice, all of a sudden, it stopped calling my name. The night became silent and still, it was so silent that I could hear the waves from the lake beside the Orphanage and the slumber of the Pokemons outside.

I became sleepy, my eyes were starting to close, my heartbeat got slower, and I was starting to feel a little dizzy. I couldn't feel my body for a minute or two, then suddenly...

I woke up!

But, not in the word I know. The world I live in looked very different from the world I woke up in.

"Where am I?" I asked myself.

I looked around the world I woke up in, It was full black, I couldn't see the light. I started to take a little stroll in the black world I woke up in, but as I walked, I saw a path of light, leading me somewhere.

And there I saw a white flower blooming, but it was blooming into something else, the flower slowly turned black, and as the flower turned black, the path of light got darker and darker until nothing was left from the path of light.

I continued to take a walk around the black world, and it seemed as I walk, I was walking towards a lake, a lake filled with white water, I was able to walk in the water since, the lake was shallow but as I walked, the water turned into blood red.

And from there I looked up, and saw the moon, but, it seemed like the moon was turning red due to the reflection from the new blood lake.

I got off the lake, and continued to walk towards a garden of decayed flowers, as I walked to the flowers, time suddenly stopped. It stopped flowing, and the stars above started to turn black.

The wind stopped as I saw the city on my left burning the city on my right being flooded, and the city in front of me experiencing an extreme thunderstorm.

Then everything stopped, as I saw a Pokemon with heavy armor flying through the sky.

I continued my walk, and found a portal, below me and above me, the portals had eyes, one which has a blue eye and the other which was black. And then order and justice were destroyed. As the order was destroyed, seven rings floated above me. each bearing one world.

A fireball then descended from the sky and crashed on the black world, and everything turned into light, then the Pokemon with heavy armor came close to me, in which two persons came forth.

Another Pokemon came to me and another two human beings came forth.

Time started to move again, and everything was in order. The stars were visible and the black flower turned back into the light.

I started to wake up!

"Ahhh!" I screamed loudly.

"Kalem... Kalem... Are you alright?"

"Yeah... Yeah... I'm ok Riolu, I just had a nightmare"

"Nightmare? You were talking in your sleep!"

"he he he, I'm sorry Riolu"

"Hey Kalem, there... there's something glowing under the bed."

"Hmm, your right Riolu..."

I looked at what was beneath my bed and there I saw an egg? An egg glowing in a veil of darkness.

"What's a Pokemon doing under the bed Kalem?"

"I'm not sure Riolu, but tomorrow I must tell headmaster Beatrice about this."

"She probably knows a thing or two about this Pokemon egg perhaps..."

"Strange... I don't remember having a Pokemon egg, with me when we first came here right Riolu?"

*Riolu nods*

I looked through my watch and saw it was 2 am in the morning, I felt sleepy again.

My eyes were about to close until I heard, the voice once more.

The voice calling my name, called once more.

"Kalem... Kalem..."

Kalem... Kalem...

I refused to open my eyes as I hugged Riolu tight because of fear, I ignored the voice, until the voice stopped once more. Finally I was able to sleep comfortably in peace.

Then I thought of my nightmare. Why would I experience such a nightmare? Does it mean something? I remembered the song my mother used to sing to me whenever I experience a nightmare. It was the song that gave me comfortability as I slept.

My father used to tell me, every time I experience a nightmare, to look at the windows and the stars shining above. Father told me that every time I would experience a nightmare, just remember that it won't happen.

"There is no such thing as De Ja Vu" my father said. It was all made up nonsense by people who believed in other universes. By people who believed in realms and portals. So, all those things about the world I woke up in, I just tried to forget and ignore it.

I didn't pay attention to it, as I slowly... slowly... slowly and slowly fell into a deep deep slumber...
