EPISODE 202: The Queen's Barren Life

Blood oozed on the queen's knees as the king's men drag her down to the bottom chambers of the Regime's castle. Never underestimate this dungeon, for secrets and enigmas bear within.

The prison cell was barely six feet by four. The walls were the same thick grey stone as the dwellings of the region, but instead of a wide window with a flower box there was a mean barred opening with thick metal bars and no glass. In the summer the fresher air was a relief, helping to alleviate the stench of festering sewage but in the cold seasons it let in a wicked draft and reduced the temperature to near freezing. It was no brighter inside than the gathering gloom of dusk, even at midday. The bed was a plank of wood on legs, there was no mattress, no cushioning, and only one thin blanket. It was either suffocatingly quiet or pierced with the screams of tortured inmates.

On her left, the majesty saw Lyra and Nate mourning with grief and suffering. Detective Looker's bleeding face gave the queen a horrific stare. Cell number 445 is where the queen was locked. For years to come, she'll be staying there until her dearest husband shows empathy.

The Elite forces of the king, are only loyal to him. Not to the queen, only to the king they submit. These men abides the king's orders no matter what, even if it means capturing the queen.

Xeryll was thrown inside of her cell as she faces embarrassment in front of the other prisoners. Inmates and intruders are alike laughed hysterically to see the queen mingling on the depths of the castle chamber. Detective Looker didn't give a poop about it, who cares about the queen anyways?

In the dungeon, people are treated like pigs. Men with authorities feed them with nothing but scraps from the king's table. Uncooked meat, broken bones, raw fish, and sometimes, when the king is angry, he feeds them with feces. Nah, I'm kidding, who even feeds people with feces? The king feeds them with brown pudding which tastes a bit like flour and baking soda mixed together.

"What's the all-mighty and all-powerful queen doing in the chambers of her own castle?!" One inmate mocked and disparaged while throwing stones at the queen's cell. These men are angry at the king and queen, some of them are officers, while some of them are grunts, fired, and strayed away.

The queen did not care about all the mockery shrouding her brittle mind. She stayed on the corner of her cell, crying and weeping for mercy. On her mind, she begged her husband to forgive her attributes, all she wanted anyways was to have a common family life.

Memories came rushing back like a thunder crashing down to fertile grounds. Everybody continued to mock her appearance while she covers her head with her arms.

"Don't go with him Xeryll, you'll regret it one day. If I were you, I would choose Draco instead, he's a gullible man. Whatever path you choose, you cannot stray from it." A motherly voice uttered on her head. She remembered the time when her mother persuaded her not to marry Arville. Being a stubborn daughter, she refused her mother's warning and continued life alongside with the current king.

Her mother warned her, she knew that she would regret her decision one day. Xeryll wished that the wheels of time could run on the opposite direction, if only she listened to her mother, this wouldn't have happened.

No matter how hard she regretted her decision to marry Arville, she still loved him, and deep inside? Xeryll forgave all the litigations of her husband for she knows how her real Arville acts like. Shrouded in the depths of ambitions, her husband is, only time will tell when the king's mind would slowly fade away.

The mockery buzzed throughout the sky, not a single one stopped. The queen's reputation was torn apart by those who have opposed her. Detective Looker didn't care about a single thing, he just continues to stare at the abyss, while waiting for his time to come.

Her Clefable came out of her Pokeball to comfort her trainer. She hugged Xeryll tightly, in the midst of the storm's mockery. Clefable hatched from an egg, and soon became the queen's favorite Pokemon. Every day, when she has free time, she would play with her Clefable, cherishing each moment and memory together. Seems childish for a queen doesn't she? Yes, the queen does have her soft side, just like a familiar leader I know in the Alola region.

"Clefable..." The queen uttered solemnly which tears oozed down. She rubbed her Cleffable's pointy but pinkish fur. Clefable did her best to comfort her trainer, remarkable indeed, Cleffable's bond with Xeryll is. A wasted warning turned her to a path she didn't ought to be.

Clefable is tall, pink Pokémon with a vaguely star-shaped body. It has long, pointed ears with dark brown tips and black, oval eyes with wrinkles on either side. A curled lock of fur hangs over its forehead, much like its long, tightly curled tail. On its back is a pair of dark pink wings; each wing has three points. Its hands have three fingers each, and its feet have two clawed toes and dark pink soles.

Clefable is a timid creature that flees when it senses people approaching and is one of the world's rarest Pokémon. Its sensitive ears can distinctly hear a pin drop from half a mile (one kilometer) away. Because of its acute hearing, it prefers to live in quiet, mountainous area of which it is protective. Using a bouncy gait, it is able to walk on water and sometimes appears to be flying using its small wings.

Don't get me wrong, Xeryll was once a trainer who strayed from her goal to be with Arville. Clefable somewhat is a sister towards Xeryll, but never underestimate her Meteor Mash move.

Xeryll actually has a liking towards Draco, but she'd prefer Arville over him.The queen's barren life is truly desolate indeed. Now, she lives to regret her decisions, but knows that one day? She, the king, and their daughter would soon live a typical life. A life, commonly experieced by families across the world. No barriers, no walls, in between, this is what the queen wants. In hopes for this to happen, she supports Arville's ambition so everything will finally be done. Once he's done with his ambitions, he can finally rest on a house with his wife, and daughter. Once salvation has been achieved, the queen hopes for her family to be united.
