Quarter Finals

With the sun rises, a new day starts.

This day, Quarterfinal matches have. 7 participants reach the quarterfinal. But Ayda does not battle because of the draw. Luckily, she moves on to the semifinals without battling in a match.

The first match in the quarterfinal is between Gizem and 3rd rank of the South-East Region. He is a boy at 19 and he has blue eyes and brown hair.

Interestingly, both trainers specialize in Ice-type pokemon. Because of this, the match is very enjoyable.

With the starts of the match, Gizem releases Glaceon as her first pokemon while her opponent choices Arctozolt.

Arctozolt is a very interesting pokemon. It looks like a unit of two different pokemons. Its head and arms are yellow and have a thin shape. Its body is big and blue coloured. Where the head and body meet seems to have cut. It is an Electric/ Ice type pokemon.

Beyaz knows this pokemon is from Galar Region in the anime. While resurrecting, it has been using different fossil piece. Thanks to this, it has a unique shape. There are 3 more pokemons similar to this pokemon. Those pokemons cannot find in hidden areas, unlike other fossil pokemons.

With the referee's order, the match starts.

''Glaceon, use Ice Beam''

''Arctozolt, use Ice Beam''

Both pokemons send a blue beam made from ice energy to each other. Then these beams clash. With this, cold energy spreads around the arena.

''Arctozolt, use Charge''

''Glaceon, protect yourself with Sand Attack'

Yellow sparks appear around the Arctozolt, and Arctozolt sends these sparks to Glaceon.

Glaceon uses its front claws on the ground and sands rise from the ground. Then, under the control of the Glaceon, these sands become a stun where stays in front of Glaceon. Yellow sparks hit this stun and do not give any damage.

''Glaceon, use Quick Attack, then Take Down''

Glaceon runs to the opponent secretly and quickly. Thanks to the sand block, it can not seem to Arctozolt.

After reaching to Arctozolt, Glaceon hits to Arctozolt strongly. Under the impact of the attack, Arctozolt sent back.

Arctozolt stands up and fights again. After a while, Glaceon beats Arctozolt. Arctozolt's electric attacks have not any effect thanks to Gloceon's covers itself with using Sand Attack.

The trainer from South-East Region sends Alolan-Sandlash as his second pokemon. Unlike Sandlash, Alolan-Sandslash is Ice/Steel type pokemon.

In this world, there is not the Alola Region. A distinct form of Pokemon can find in a wild area or hidden lands.

''Glaceon, use Bite''

''Sandslash, use Metal Claw''

Dark-type energy appears in Glaceon's mouth, then it forms a mouth shape.

Sandslash's claws covered with metal type energy and this energy's shape become claw.

Both moves collide and both pokemons a few steps back.

''Sandslash, use Rollout''

Sandslash rolls around the field while covering with rock-type energy. With this, Sandslash raises its speed. Glaceon tries to stop Sandslash's roll. But Glaceon's physical attacks have not affective in Sandslash. Also, its special attacks are ice type. So, it cannot stop Sandslash's roll.

After a while, Glaceon gets tired. Taking this opportunity, Sandslash attacks with Metal Claw. Metal-type energy is very effective to ice-type pokemon. Whit this attack, Glaceon faints.

Gizem's second pokemon is Cloyster.

After entering to the field, Cloyster takes defensive mode. With this, it tries to tire the Sandslahs. In the end, Sandslash cannot continue and faints.

The South-East Region trainer's third pokemon is Frosmoth. It is Ice/ Bug-type pokemon. Frosmoth is strong in special attack moves. Cloyster is a defensive pokemon rather than special defensive. Also, Frosmoth is faster than Cloyster. In the end, Frosmoth beats Cloyster.

Gizem's third pokemon is Weavile. With Weavile, Ayda uses hit-and-run tactics and defeats her opponent's Frosmoth.

After Frosmoth, he releases Lapras as his fourth pokemon. Lapras beats Weavile after an intense battle.

Then, Gizem sends Abomasnow against Lapras.

Abomasnow limits Lapras with grass-type energy. Because of this, this time is Gizem's win.

His 5th pokemon is Jynx. Jynx is a humanoid pokemon. It is an Ice/ Psychic-type pokemon. The winner of this round is Jynx.

After taking Abomasnow to its Pokeball, Gizem releases Aurorus as her 5th pokemon.

Jynx has some annoying moves such as Drain Punch, Draining Kiss. Because of this, Aurorus had a hard time. But Aurorus beats Jynx. But it has a lack of energy after the battle. Because of this, Gizem takes back to its Pokeball.

With this, both trainers have to send their last pokemon.

''Ninetales, you are up''

''Froslass, it is your turn now.''

While Gizem sends Alolan Ninetales, her opponent sends Froslass.

Without waiting too much, Froslass becomes mega evolution after the order of its trainer. Seeing this, Gizem also orders mega evolution to Alolan Ninetales. With this, both pokemon enter the mega evolution form.

After mega evolution, Froslass grows tall. And its shape becomes more humanoid than before. It comprises 1 more mark on its forehead. Two horns grow up on both side its head. Thus, it has 3 horns on both its heads. And two of them become tapered. Also, some hair grows upon the head same colour with its horns.

After mega evolution, an intense battle starts.

''Ninetales, use Will-o-Wisp''

''Froslass, use Will-o-Wisp''

Blue fireballs appear around both pokemons, and both pokemons send these fireballs to each other. And both pokemons cannot dodge the fireballs and hit. With this, a burning situation occurs in both pokemons.

''Ninetales, use Sunny Day''

Everybody surprises with Gizem's command. They do not understand why she uses Sunny Day.

Her opponent also does not understand.

''Froslass, use Shadow Ball.'' A dark ball appears in front of Froslass then flies to Ninetales.

''Ninetales, dodge it then run to Froslass''

After dodging the shadow ball, Ninetales runs to Froslass.

''Ninetales, use Fire Spin'' Fires appeared around the Ninetales.

When Ninetales becomes close to Froslass, Gizem gives a command which her opponent gets nervous.

''Froslass ru-, no use Protect'' At first, Froslass trainer wants to dodge Fire Spin. But he understands Froslass cannot dodge it. So, he changes the command.

''After using Protect, run far away from Ninetales.''

''Ninetales, chase Froslass while using Fire Spin''

Thus, the chase begins between two pokemons. A little later, Froslass can escape to away from Ninetales, but it gets too tired.

''Ninetales, use Dazzling Gleam''

Ninetales creates a rainbow coloured sphere around its body and slams into the Froslass.

Froslass cannot dodge it and losses its ability to continue the battle.

Thus, the first semi-finalist of the tournament determines.

The winner is Gizem. After an intense battle, she beats her opponent.

The next battle is Melissa versus Errin.

Melissa's first pokemon is Absol, while Errin's first pokemon is Charizard. After an intense battle, both pokemons faint.

Then Melissa sends Spritomb, and Errin sends Braviary. This time Braviary beats Spritomb.

As the third pokemon, Melissa sends Umbreon. Umbreon beats Braviary. Then beats Mantine.

Then, Errin sends Corviknight and defeats Umbreon. Melissa's fourth pokemon is Incineroar. Incineroar beats Corviknight, then losses to Salamance.

Gizem sends Hydreigon against Salamance. And Hydreigon wins. Then, Errin send Togekiss.

Togekiss beats Hydreigon easily.

Melissa's last pokemon is Bisharp.

After Bisharp enters the arena. Both pokemons mega evolution.

After mega evolution, sword tips occur both sides of the axe tip on the Bisharp's forehead. The blades in the abdomen change from a horizontal position to a vertical. And both legs and arms are more tapered.

This mega evolution clash's winner is Bisharp. Thus, Melissa moves on to the semifinals.

The last battle of the quarterfinals is between the Marmara Region winner and the South-East Region.

Yakup starts the match with using Hippowdon. After Hippowdon entering the battlefield, sandstorm occurs in the arena. Hippowdon ability is Sandstorm. Yakup is the only trainer who uses weather team among regional winners. He uses Sandstorm team.

Yakup's opponent Atakan sends Slowking to the arena.

Although there is weather support, Hippowdon losses to Slowking.

Yakup's second pokemon is Sandslash. Inside sandstorm, its speed rises. With the help of this boost, Sandslash beats Slowking.

Atakan's second pokemon is Ninjask.

Ninjask is faster than Sandslash, even in the sandstorm. With using its high-speed, Ninjask beats Sandslash. Ninjask's ability also is Speed Boost. Thanks to this ability, while attacking Sandslash, its speed rises.

After defeats of the Sandslash, Yakup uses Garchomp as his third pokemon.

Ninjask's speed is not affective to Garchomp. After a while, Ninjask faints.

Garchomp has almost full energy, which means Ninjask couldn't harm Garchomp.

Atakan's third pokemon is Dragonite. After entering the arena, Dragonite uses Hurricane first. With this, sandstorm destroyed.

An intense battle, Dragonite beats Garchomp. After beating Garchomp, Yakup takes Dragonite back to its Pokeball.

Thus, both trainers send their fourth pokemon at the same time.

Atakan uses Sawk, while Yakup uses Claydol. Claydol defeats Sawk with using Psychic-type moves.

Atakan's fifth pokemon is Meganium. Meganium beats Claydol. But Meganium also gets tired.

Yakup's fifth pokemon is Gastrodon. Because of Gastrodon is Water/ Ground-type pokemon, Meganium beats Gastrodon. Meganium also poisoned while in the match. Because of this, Meganium faints while Yakup sending his last pokemon.

As for his sixth pokemon, Yakup sends Gliscor. Atakan's last pokemon is Diggersby.

Yakup uses mega evolution instantly after Gliscor entering to the field.

Mega Gliscor has darker skin than before, and it looks more devilish. (Here is the picture)

After an intense battle, Mega Gliscor beats Diggersby. With Diggersby's lost, Atakan sends again Dragonite to the arena.

The match between these two pokemons is very hard. In the end, the winner is Dragonite.

Atakan wins Yakup without using mega evolution.

Thus, semifinals participants of the tournament determine. Gizem, Melissa, Atakan and Ayda move on to the semifinals.
