Wendell rushed towards Marco. Everyone rushed towards him. When they reached the camp, Ryan immediately checked for a pulse.

"How is he" Alex asked.

"Dead" Ryan said bluntly.

Everyone were shocked. One of their oldest and best member of the team gone, just like that.

"What do you mean 'Dead' have some common curtesy you-!" Alex shouted before Alicia stopped him shaking his head.

"What can I tell you give you hope telling he is sleeping? sugar coating the truth?" Ryan asked. His words were like bullets piercing through them.

"In a cruel world like this you have to wake up and face the cruel reality. " Ryan said as he carried Marco's body outside and wrapped it with a white cloth.

"What are you doing?!" Alex shouted seeing Ryan wrapping Marco's body with white cloth.

"When we were travelling I asked him if he dies on this path known as trainer what does he want to do?" Ryan started slowly.

"What did he say?" Alicia asked softly.

"He said that he would like to be buried near the Crystalline heart of the Cerulean Forest" Ryan said.

"What! don't make up things. The Pokemon here will rip his body apart!" Alex shouted.

"Alex!" Alicia shouted.

"This cloth is dipped in "essence of grace" which repels pokemon." said Ryan.

Thus, Marco's final wish to be buried near the Cerulean lake was done. The Crystal stone that are beside the Cerulean lake was kept as a Tombstone.

Everyone including Ryan had a moment of silence for Marco's death.

"Where is Lisa?" Wendell asked.

"Lisa? she should be with Marco right?" Alex asked.

"I'll ask Medicham to sense where she is" Alicia said as she released her Medicham.

"What can I do for you mistress?" the Medicham asked through telepathy.

"Can you find Lisa? she is missing" Alicia told Medicham who immediately started using psychic energy to sense anyone nearby.

Soon enough Medicham started to run indicating us to follow. As they followed Medicham they saw Lisa sprawled across the ground with some herbs in her hand. Alicia and Alex where frozen in shock seeing Lisa at the same state as Marco.

Ryan went forward and checked her and shook his head. He soon started to wrap her in bandages too.

"What are you doing? don't tell me this is her last wish or something. I didn't even see you interact with her!" Alex shouted furiously.

"You know very well that both Marco and Lisa were in love with each other. Marco also told me that himself telling he didn't have the courage to tell her himself. I want to bury them beside each other. At least that way they can be together in after life" Ryan said. This was the first time they have listened Ryan telling things such as this.

Lisa was soon buried beside Marco when all of a sudden Alex asked.

"How did they even die?" His voice was soft. It didn't have the same joy or happiness as before.

"My guess is that they couldn't tolerate the energy that Ryan was talking about" Wendell said who was silent the whole time.

"She had some herbs in her hand." Alicia told.

"Yes my guess is that the energy must have harmed Marco. So Lisa went into the forest to search for some herbs to cure Marco" said Ryan as he saw Wendell turning around. His face had a solemn expression.

"We shall end our research here. I don't want you all to stay in the same place which took away your friend's life" said Ryan.

Alex and Alicia were just quite. Ryan took that as an yes and prepared everything to leave.

'Its a shame that I couldn't find the reason for the Glowing Cerulean Wave phenomenon but I have gathered a lot of data from here. I can possibly find the reason though it will just be a hypothesis' thought Ryan.

Since it was sundown Ryan and the others set up the camp and started to prepare dinner. That's when he heard it.

[Alert. Master there is something that is showing hostility towards your group] Porygon alerted in his mind.]

He saw around him and other's faces but couldn't see anything.

"What happened Ryan you are seeing around." asked Alicia. One could see her face stained with tears.

"Nothing, I thought I heard something" Ryan answered.

Soon the remaining four trainers went to sleep. The next day everyone saw Ryan coming from the direction of the Lake.

"What are you doing this early?" Wendell asked.

"Nothing just went ahead and checked whether I left something. The sight of the lake was very beautiful when the sun rises. I have also got to see the Glowing Cerulean waves up close" Ryan replied.

"Really! wish we could also see it" Alicia said.

"If you want we can stay here one night. According to the data we can see the Glowing Cerulean Waves today once more tonight. We can leave after that." said Ryan.

"Alex, Wendell what is your opinion on this?" asked Alicia.

"I don't want to stay here" said Alex his voice was strained. Marco told that he saw Alex as an younger brother he never had. This means Alex must have seen Marco as an elder brother.

"We will stay." said Wendell.

"What?!" Alex asked with disbelief etched on his face.

"Both Marco and Lisa wanted to see the Glowing Cerulean Waves. We will see it once for them" Wendell said.

Alex thought about it and remembered how Marco wanted to see the Cerulean Glowing Waves and accepted to stay here tonight. After that they will return to Cerulean City.

After agreeing and putting up a plan all of them shifted their tents beside the lake to see the Waves.

"When can we see it tonight?" asked Wendell with interest.

"Above 8 PM" answered Ryan.

Wendell seemed happy with the answer and went to tell Alex and Alicia. Soon after lunch everyone started to wait for the Glowing Cerulean Waves. Soon it was night time. They all got to witness the phenomenon that Cerulean city was famous for.

After 7 PM the water from river which were draining into the lake started to lessen. Soon it happened the water which seemed to have lessened started to bust forth creating waves. Due to this the Bioluminescent Plants started to glow brighter than before.

The whole lake started to glow brightly as rain started to pour from above as if it was crowning the lake. The ripple phenomenon also coupled long with it.

Everyone were mesmerized by this phenomenon both Alex and Alicia were happy that they buried Marco and Lisa in such a beautiful place.

Unfortunately happiness doesn't last forever. Soon there was an scream from behind.
